This is why it's so fun. The left really doesn't care about being called weird. "Keep Austin Weird" is a great example. The right on the other hand is all about keeping up appearances and LARPing a gun toting, traditional all American christian family. And it ends up being way weirder than any furry or a pink haired liberal arts student. And they lose their **** when you call them weird because their whole identity is wrapped up in being normal, good American.
It is wonderful to FINALLY, after 250 years - see women have control of their own voice and narrative at the highest level of politics and to see people at least open to the idea. Politics has been a male - primarily white male - only club for too long. If women can raise our children, then they can run our country - they are natural leaders in many situations. This type of approach is very refreshing when compared to the same canned BS.
the Kamala campaign is really out here playing chess stringing Trump along with surgical precision they have him looking terrified to debate…they’re making him look scared and weak now they’re bating him into unmuted mics, something his handlers don’t want because the more Trump speaks, the worse it is for him and the more stupid and unhinged he sounds…the contrast between that and a normal person like Kamala in front of millions will be disastrous for dusty Donald Biden needed the muted mics or he’d never be able to get a word in with how slow and softly he now speaks…not Kamala tho
The weird thing comes from this kinda stuff: It comes with obsessions with trans people, women existing as breeders etc.
Women can for sure lead, however this women didn't lead her way unto her position or nominee... This women was put there by the establishment.... Why ya'll keep pretending? Sooner or later this country will have a women president but she will have earned it the same way every man has....
Also the GOP in the past half century have elected two presidents with a career in entertainment media before politics with Reagan and Trump. Kamala, a career prosecutor is a more serious human than those two people.
Trump agreed to the ABC debate - and now he is backing out. That is different than not agreeing to a debate. There is no question that Trump is speaking to the press more than Harris - a lot of that is handpicked members of the press, but not all of them. My best guess is that Trump is going to be hitting the Theo Von, Dan Bongino, Patrick David, Logan Paul and Michael Franzese circuit rather than debates... they have huge followings, and it may work for him. He also will be in situations where he can be in front of friendly interviewers or hosts. Harris has so far hit more conventional press - and likewise will look for more friendly interviewers.
Nah Trump will be at the ABC debate, but he is just calling out how one of the mods is Kamala's BFF and bringing that to light. ABC will likely replace her as one of the mods. Handpicked or not, those press conferences he had allowed journalists to ask any question they wanted. Trump does those in addition to the podcast circuit. These are things normal candidates do. Kamala has not done any press. The last time she answered a question, Tim Walz/his wife and Emhoff all looked down appearing depressed.. All she does is rallies and scripted speeches. She was able to get away with it in early August but now way more people are starting to wonder. 0 votes in the 2020 primaries, 0 in 2024 and one of the most unpopular VPs, yet people want to gaslight like she's more popular than Obama was. It's ridiculous.
I don't really know the other 2 families, but Boebert & her oldest son have really struggled to be law-abiding.
What happens when a president steps down from wanting to run for re-election 1 month before it is illegal in most states to change the top of the ticket where the party has one month to organize a campaign around a new candidate?
You keep using the term moderator when her friend is actually an executive. Do you an article or something you can link to that says she's supposed to be a moderator???
First, I agree with you that Harris hasn't spoken to the press a lot so far - but I also don't think she needs to yet from a strategic standpoint. Second, I don't know that I would consider much of what Trump does being what normal candidates do - in 2024 a lot has changed. Third - as for Walz and Emhoff looking depressed, that is a lot of projection - thus far, there has been very little depressing about Harris or her campaign. That can change, but the lack of depression in her campaign compared to the doom and gloom with Trump is one of the most stark differences that has likely helped Harris at this point. Fourth - I don't see anyone claiming that Harris is more popular than Obama when he ran. I haven't seen or heard that at all. What I have heard is people discussing the enthusiasm around her campaign when compared to Trump and Biden's - and like her or hate her, that has certainly been the case so far. There are months until election day - Biden stepped down only like 5 weeks ago, so there is lots of time left. Trump will surge at some point, and Harris may as well - but it will likely be a dog fight. While I believe that the Trump team is underplaying the support from women that Harris will get - I also think that Trump will do better among the under 40 male crowd than Harris' team thinks - social media is very powerful.
