Trump appears to be losing some of his MAGA base ... I would not be surprised if those non-college whites that are leaving are women who are voting against where the Rs want to take this country on abortion.

Luntz chose the word "collapse" like maybe all these voters that have collapsed on Kamala will do her in and allow the God Emperor a path to victory.

This has been the brilliance of the picking Walz and the DNC. Both have been crafted to go after undecided. For all of the attempts to paint Walz as a Socialist Hamas supporter it doesn’t sticks he’s just too much of a Midwestern dad and particular for undecided who are low interests voters that first impression of Midwestern dad is sticking. Harris in her speech also pulled a page out of Bill Clinton and pushed positions thst are divisive in the Democrats but more likely to appeal to undecided and independents.

The Democrats couldn’t pull this off though without Republicans continuing to sound more radical and crazy.

Meh power of the dollar still sucks, border is still f'ed up, n the foreign policy is not that good. 3 things that usually decide the elections, but we'll see what happens.

I was just in Ireland the power of the dollar doesn’t suck compared to the Euro and other currencies. I just posted in another thread that border crossings are down 50% in the last few months. Most Americans still support the overall foreign policy of supporting Ukraine, not abandoning Israel, and being part of NATO. Foreign policy though rarely is a major factor in elections.

High cost of groceries and housing does remain a problem and is the biggest problem that the Democrats face as the party in power. The problem for Republicans is that they cannot stay focused on inflation. Instead we see them getting bogged down in issues and rhetoric that most Americans neither care about or are turned off by.

We’ve seen a lot of stuff change fast in this election and a lot can happen between now and November but at the moment the trends are in the Democrats favor.

True most of the world is experiencing it worse ( inflation), but people here don't care about that. People that are in the middle/center treat US presidents like you treat managers in business, sh.it starts going bad you replace the manager, thats how they switch presidents. It wouldn't even be close if the Republicans had someone else other than Trump, but since they do, the hate is real towards him so I won't be surprised if Kamala wins.

Trump's hatred toward others is very real. Among his most emotionally attached and staunch defenders, that hate from him is wonderful, but any criticism of him is seen as hate. They are unwilling to see his failures and his own undoing, but instead deflect toward others as the reason he's failing.

Trump had a fleeting chance of normalizing and showing that he had changed when he was almost shot dead. His campaign wanted a reset of his image and strategized to do that. He started his acceptance speech that way, but then, he couldn't help himself, and went off script. He is who he is, a person full of hatred toward others, possessing the emotional control of a toddler, and harboring intense negativity. He's fundamentally unsuited for the presidency and that's why, unlike any other Republican who is a normal person, he is struggling to win.

This morning, the Harris/Walz campaign released a new memo announcing a record breaking fundraising haul of more than $540 million since Kamala Harris announced her campaign for President about one month ago. This major fundraising haul includes more than $82 million raised during the DNC Convention this past week in Chicago and represents a major momentum builder for the campaign.

What makes this fundraising haul even more impressive is the fact that one third of this week's donations, during the DNC Convention, came from first time contributors, one fifth of those first time donors were young voters, and two thirds were women. In addition, teachers and nurses are among the most common donor occupations.

The Harris/Walz campaign doesn't just have record breaking fundraising numbers, the memo also outlined how the campaign has had more than 200,000 volunteer shifts filled since last Monday, including more than 90,000 shift sign-ups just from Thursday and Friday of this past week.

He's gotten grumpier, angrier, and more senile with age.

He's still a pathological liar, malignant narcissist, grifter, and con though.

    I live in upstate NY.
I will be at our cabin in ogunquit Maine in two weeks once all the kids get back in school.
The northeast is truly beautiful in the summer.
But the 6 feet of snow I get in the winter is a crappy trade off.
There is always give and take.
Up here I pay a ton in taxes, gas, and anything our governess has touched.

PS. I'm the guy that smokes the brisket for my get togethers. I will not sully my pink smoke ring with sauce. You can have that shite on the side.
Also NY has killer sweet corn on the cob.

Cotton is lying here and spreading misinformation. Harris’ 2020 healthcare plan was a hybrid model that kept private insurance. It was not Bernie or Warren’s M4A structure.

So please stop lying and spreading misinformation yourself by quoting lies from Tom Cotton.
