Like, seriously, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MANAGE MY HYPE with this type of stuff going on? I know what our luck has been and how things could not work out, but this is by far the most excited I’ve ever been.. more than 2012, I was never a full believer in Shaubie.. this years team is so complete top to bottom:

    - Ownership making good decisions

    - GM is competent, making great trades and draft picks

    - coach is a leader, built a culture, put a great coach on the opposite side.

    - talent on the team is great at ALL KEY POSITIONS.

I just don’t think we’ve ever had it all before.. and we might not still, but IMHO we are pretty close.

So far, I've had no problem at all managing my excitement. I refuse to drink any Kool-Aid until the real games start.

That said, IMO, an objective view of the AFC should have the Texans in the top 4, minimum.

This flurry of trades got me thinking about players who could be had in a trade to benefit the team or possibly picked up on waivers...

QB Tyler Huntley (CLE) only if $$Mills gets traded and Browns cut him (or take a later round pick)

RB Elijah Mitchell (SF) knows the system; might be RB3 for Niners; I think we are set at RB

OT Matt Waletzko (DAL) don't think Cowboys will cut him and he would be 4th tackle in Htown anyway
    OT Ryan Van Demark (BUF)

Edge Joseph Ossai (CIN) Always liked him; would probably not be traded or cut after all their edge injuries

IDL Timmy Horne (NYG) probably don't need more lane cloggers unless Settle ain't ready
IDL Jonathan Allen (WSH) would probably require a 2nd day pick and Commodes don't appear to want to move him
    IDL Travis Bell (CIN)
IDL Trysten Hill (NEP) can rush passer from inside; used to have good explosion #'s

LB Brandon Smith (PHI) would love to acquire him as a ST demon and future LB prospect
LB Andre Carter II (MN) more of an edge; from Htown & may not make their roster
LB Lorenzo Carter (ATL) if he ends up getting cut
LB Cameron Goode (MIA) Htown native; plays more edge, but could be a valuable LB addition; still on IR IIRC

CB Miles Battle (KC) think Chiefs have plans for him; could be a solid UDFA get for them

I'm not hearing much online, so I'm beginning to get concerned. Same with WAJ.

Would love Elijah Mitchell. Wanted to trade for him early in the off-season but haven't heard much from him (yet again) because of injury. If he gets cut, I hope we jump all over that.

Jonathan Allen would be a dream for our Dline.

I can't say how pumped I am for this season.

The fact that this is coming with a refreshed look, I think the timing is right for a ton of bandwagon fans. And I'm here for it. This is about to be America's team.

As many times as I swore I'd never support this team again, I bought a Stroud, Tank, and WAJ jersey. Then bought a Stroud jersey for my wife and daughter and a custom for my son. Crazy to think of where we are now from where we were 2 years ago.

There are several things coming together which make this a possibility with an injury at the position, his being a Captain, some concern with Harris and injury history along with excess value elsewhere. Demeco and Caserio have just had a week to thoroughly assess a fit.

I'm thinking 13-4, if we stay healthy
