You plug in sub par players and you get sub par results. The Astros lineups are almost laughable. It is amazing they are doing as well as they are. Think of some of the lineups of recent years. I remember lineups where the majority of hitters were near or over .300.
Huh? They just pissed away two games and are still 9 games over .500 in late August and had they not pissed away the last two they’d be 3 games away from the AL #1 seed. That’s got zero to do with Seattle. That’s just a hater or uninformed casual fan statement…
watching the play, I don't think it was Singleton being lazy, it looked like he saw Framber running to 1st for the flip and then Singleton changed his mind and decided to run for the bag a bad play (and maybe on Framber as well), but not for a lack of effort
Lineups were the majority of all the hitters are over .300 are all time lineups. They doesn't happen very often. We were spoiled because most years we only really had 1 out in our lineup. When B. McCann was here we had no outs. Those lineups were relentless and just wore pitchers out.
ACTUALLY... Does everybody experience every loss the same? Might someone else experience a loss to be more painful than you do, sir?
We had a super team and blew it against a fluke team rather than the other super teams which was super disappointing. 2019 had Cy Young quality pitchers in the entire playoff rotation. The set up man and closer were all star caliber. And only Maldy was the dead weight in the lineup.
In my opinion, waiting for a slow-assed grounder to finally reach you is as lazy as it gets. Framber didn't try his hardest, either.
Huh? Im frustrated also. I didn’t name call or say STFU like some others here, I just pointed out Seattle has little to do with the last two losses. That poster only posts when something negative occurs, mainly losses, like our buddy rv0. That poster was talking **** on any loss in the 2022 WS and you saw how that turned out….
