Jalen took a lot of stupid shots under Silas because of a lack of structure. With Ime Udoka there’s an offense to operate in so his shot diet should make a lot more sense because he’ll have an idea of where on the floor his shots will come from. He should master these spots on the floor.

KPJ is a better passer than Jalen has ever dreamed of being..... but that doesn't mean he's good or that he has a high BBIQ or even regular IQ. The hopes for a talented young long shot reclamation project paying off when the team had nothing going for them and were wasting top picks on busts like Jalen and role players like Jabari has nothing to do with today. If Jalen doesn't have his first quality season of his career this upcoming season, some bottom feeder team might view him the same way after the Rockets wash their hands of him.
Straight up BS. That dude ran around the majority of his time like a headless chicken. The time spent on the "KPJ PG experiment" would have been better spent on a JG PG experiment. I think Porter was a tool to tank. They knew letting him attempt to run things would lead to losses. The true tank commander.
It was heartbreaking to watch them gaslight a guy with mental illness into thinking they truly believe in him. Until I learned he's a woman beater of course, then I didn't feel bad about it at all.
He'll probably have a good run in LA. He'll be in his natural position off the ball. If he keeps his cool and just plays his game, he'll be in the league a long time.

KPJ was a better 2 guard then. He probably still is. KPJ, also, was the only ball handler on that team, the Rockets drafted Green at 2, and we were tanking.. So, they played him out of position. And, he couldn't hold his shiet together. All these things are true. It is what it is.
Green in his second year had a higher efficiency on the type of possession that is the most "PG" type of play which is pnr primary ball handler. He had more possessions per game AND higher points per possession. These are high sample size metrics as one primary ball handler is the largest chunk of the type of possessions KPJ and Green played. The difference between the two was mainly a confidence issue with Green having a lot less experience. And Green more than made up for it in raw separation ability due to being far more explosive. This meant the offense ran better when Green did things because he didn't have to spam dribble as much to create separation so offensive sets ran quicker when Green did things rather than KPJ. Green has made up that minor deficit in ball handling skills in his third year.
I know given your shortcomings it's probably pointless, but I'll explain the obvious to you one more time. KPJ was the best that we had at the time.....during a time where the Rockets had very little going for them and were actively tanking. KPJ showed a ton of promise if he could put things all together, despite being forced to play the PG role due to the team having no competent guards whatsoever. It ended up not working out due to off the court issues, but if those things never happened, he'd STILL be the best SG on the roster. That said, KPJ is the past and it's time for you to move on. The current issue is not that a guy we picked up for a 2nd round pick is struggling, it's that the guy we took with the #2 overall pick is even worse than the guy we got for a 2nd round pick. No amount of deflection will change that.
