I sure hope he's not injury prone. I wish we had traded Pierce and kept Singletary. He was young, and probably would have been a lot better this year with a 2nd year in the system and with Howard, Tunsil, and the rest blocking for him. Last year our offensive was one hot mess with all the injuries.
DP shouldve played, and Akers should be the backup. DP has not done enough to not be fighting for his spot on the roster.
I don't think it's that he's injury prone, I just think it's an unnecessary risk they didn't want to take.
Akers just fits this offense better then Pierce as many have said. Pierce shouldn't be ahead of Akers if he is.
