My son saw the Primus farewell to kings show. Capturing Rush. Dream Theater?? My son is a studio musician these days. Has always been a Rush fan. Here is a video of him when he was 16 doing YYZ. He is much better now.
Saw all those other bands open for Rush! And .38 Special and Steve Morse as well. Just checked..."Test for Exho" was the first with no opener. Rush headlined that year's Texxas Jam ('84?) and closed the show. Full lineup was Gary Moore, .38 Special, Bryan Adams(?!), Ozzy and Rush.
Test for Echo seem right. Back then you could not bring cameras into a show, so my ample bosomed wife snuck in a camera lens between he ta ta's. And my brother in laws wife brought the camera body in-between hers.
Dude has some major skills...... That must have been a blast going to shows and seeing him....is he not in a band currently? DD
Me and a buddy camped out for tickets to that show. Maybe a Ticket Tron at Willowbrook Mall? We were actually first in line and when they opened up at 10am, their computers went down..... so we ended up camping out for tickets behind the stage. The cool thing was that Alex waived at us before the lights went down for their opener (Spirit of Radio, of course).
Oh hell, that made me laugh. Mostly because of Ren and Stimpy though. Watched it religiously and remember those close ups well. Not going to lie, I know the Dems are fighting fire with fire regarding the digs, but I’ve grown tired of it all. I’m sick of insults and rhetoric. Just give me positive action.
He is doing studio work in NYC. He comes home once a month for some chill time. I live vicariously through him. I could play nothing in the way of an instrument. when he is home he will set up an occasional gig at a restaurant that does dinners with jazz. And he gets booked for occasional weddings playing classical and flamenco guitar for wedding entrances. He loves Matt Belamy from Muse and Django Reinhardt. My boy sleighed Eruption at 15. last video. Don't want to derail all of the infighting on the thread. Just thought some folks might want to smile on a beautiful Friday.
Trump’s businesses are raking in millions of dollars from Republican political campaigns – including his own | CNN Politics Trump and associated political groups have funneled more than $28 million in campaign donations to his businesses – helping convert the enthusiasm of his political supporters into personal profit. The campaign spending at Mar-a-Lago and other Trump properties parallels other business ventures Trump has been involved in since he left the White House to earn money from his political supporters – including selling digital trading cards, promoting Trump-branded sneakers and hawking a $59.99 Bible.
seriously, he looks absolutely terrible in photographs these days, like he's about to shed his skin Cocoon style:
