Biden wasn’t elected to a second term and wasn’t forced to leave the office. This wasn’t a “coup” by any definition of that word. The only people who are unhappy that he isn’t the nominee are him, his family, and Republicans who are voting for Trump.
That is “storming the stage”? … at some point in the last year, it became acceptable to post something and attach a video that shows the opposite.
Okay - for those keeping score, Trump has now swung back from claiming Harris loves to imprison black men to Harris now being anti police again and letting radical criminals roam the street.
For people who have trouble understanding the political process, I'll say it again, since apparently people are still unclear. Any group can have someone run for president. A bunch of dogcatchers, or death metal grandmothers, or yoga aficianados. Whatever. No part of democracy says how a club nominates someone to run for president. NADA. So if a political party wants to play roshambo or nimblypeg to find their candidate, they can do that. If they want to have a Ren Fair jousting session to pick a candidate, they can do that. An independent, non-governmental group can use any method they like to nominate someone to run for office. See: Green Party, Ross Perot, etc, etc. If anyone cares about the Democrats (and a bunch of republicans seems awfully obsessed, almost as much as they're obsessed by San Francisco), the party looked at polling data that said most party members weren't feeling the Biden candidacy after his turrrible debate, and they axed him. And then they saw very positive polling data and raised a bunch of money. Looks like a better process than spin the bottle, but they could have done that too. Thanks everyone.

I'm glad you brought this up again. Looking @Salvy post, I realized that I previously felt like this was not democracy kicking Biden to the curb, but your explanation really made me realize that I was just not thinking things through and that it is just a process that party chooses to partake in but not a necessity.
