There's a concept called "shades of meaning". It involves context. Look into it.

I think you’re not understanding the level of irony that’s intentionally involved here.

    I hope they continue

it’s surreal seeing republicans grasp for straws and constantly grabbing nothing but air in real time…they have no clue what people actually care about

nobody gives a fck about their “Biden coup” rhetoric…them screaming communist, marxist and other buzzwords they don’t know the meaning of doesn’t land with anyone other than the MAGAts…they label everyone a radical leftist that it’s long become a “boy who cried wolf” situation…

their fear mongering is laughable atp as well

Trump didn’t take it seriously—too much of it was 'everything is going to be fine' propaganda. However, it was a novel virus, so not knowing at the time was normal. Still, I would have preferred a more balanced message: 'We don’t know and are doing everything possible' instead of 'It’s going to be fine' (death will be low, it will go away soon). When it wasn’t fine, he tried to test less so the numbers looked better and he politicized it—all unnecessary and very counterproductive.

But this is fair, and I didn’t like that myself. I thought for a 'forward' campaign, they should focus mostly on going forward and very little on rehashing the past. The first day had quite a bit of that rehashing, and my guess is it’s leftover material from Biden. They probably started writing these materials months ago, before Biden dropped out.

I both like it and don’t like it.

I think it’s politically smart. These guys are weird as hell, and it’s catchy. It pushes Trump’s buttons, which, when pushed, makes him act erratically and counterproductively to his own campaign (pushing Trump’s buttons - and boy, does he have big, beautiful buttons - is a strategy of Harris’s campaign).

I don’t like that it normalizes Trump’s real mental disorder as just 'weird'. It’s much more than weird. He has a serious mental disorder and should be nowhere near a nuke button or the most powerful position in the world.

    Neither Candidate checks all boxes
Kamala would probably not be my first choice
But she is what we have
I think you can categorize her voters as such
    1. Kamala Loving Voters
    2. True Blue Democrat Voters
    3. Anyone but Trump Voters - Anti-Trump Voters

The problem for the Republicans is that #3 is larger than they anticipated

"We chase the approval of strangers on our phones; we build all manner of walls and fences around ourselves and then wonder why we feel so alone. We don't trust each other as much because we don't take the time know each other - and in that space between us, politicians and algorithms teach us to caricature each other and troll each other and fear each other." - Barack Obama
