I assume you don't know what argument from authority is....but maybe look it up.

I don't care what person endorses an indefensible hot take, it's still an indefensible hot take.

If you have an actual argument, make it, if not, stop embarrassing yourself with a long string of fallacies.

comparing Them is very foolish and waste of breath......and that goes for any player who went to College for 2-4 yrs vs. HS straight to NBA

Comparing Green to V Carter/Wade etc first 4 yrs is just as ignant, diff. development environment as far as preparing for the actual 82 game trek

It is a what it be

Udoka is a real coach but his first year he also babysat and protected his young ones more than he should have.

Made sure that the media that are not mouth pieces did not devour them.

For someone to call others ignant names for them lacking bball knowledge etc .... you are truly lost in the sauce

It has already been put out there the avg height Wilt faced during his era and number of HOFers he faced at his position, they were more D Howard/Mourning height

He put up godly numbers because he always did as he allegedly played against college/pro prospects in a league when he was 16 and they said he avg 70ppg or so

Wilt even said if it was all about scoring he would have avg 70ppg .... His coach asked him to score so he put up the gaudy numbers......and later changed his game with title team in I think 67', then even more with Lakers......

The LA media use to tell Wilt he couldn't score like old..... So Wilt would drop 48/55/58-60 pts in consecutive games and then go back to overpassing

Every (super) star in pro sports has a major massive ego, so that really don't mean much outside your bubble world

Stat padding by players had to start with Wilt, since he invented (made it famous) the full court outlet pass to start fast break that is credited to Unseld or Love / bank shot that is credited to T Duncan / one leg jumper that most think Dirk invented

So him goaltending his own teammates shot didn't count as an actual block, so his many games with 25 blocks are legit......and those who kept track of his unofficial NBA blocks per game said it was almost 17 blocks per game in first 7 yrs and back end it was almost 9 per game

He dominated because he was basically Bron of his era but 7'4'' with shoes and was bench pressing 350lbs...... At 13 yrs old

Put some respek on the Dipper name......you play who is in your era

The Celtics had like 7-9 HOFers, including a HOFer who was a super freak athlete as well, so the better team always won....but he took those better teams to 6/7 game series

Then when Wilt had better team talent in 67', they mopped the Celtics in 5......and would have done it following postseason but Wilt and others got injured, up 3-1 at that time.....it was bad luck being in era where one team won 8 in a row and 11 out of 13 yrs....wilt played like 14 seasons

Wilt would have dominated in any era, Kareem was lucky he got to face old man Wilt, had they been same young age, it would have been sad for Alcindor

Nobody can tell dudes aren't camped out in the paint waiting on Green.
    Paint is always packed.

Jalen with even an ounce more strength is going to be tough to deal with. He will start to really overwhelm the young players of the league athletically at the rim.

Safe to say the people over at 2k are not looking at the "efficiency metrics"? Buddy is sandwiched between Freddy and a guy who just signed a 212M contract! o_O

I thought Jalen was the worst player in the NBA (according to Rocket fans)???

If Jalen can show up this year with a better understanding of pace and how he can use it as a weapon it will open up many more opportunities for him especially when the paint is congested.

I kind of think he's never had a problem operating in high pace. Whenever we play fast he seems to do well. A big reason for his outstanding March performance is we were playing faster and wider.

What he will definitely need to figure out within the next 1-2 years is how to use his speed and quickness within a slower half court set. That won't be our style but some contenders will force us into it in the playoffs. I think that's where Adams' screen-setting could be very helpful to free him up.

My point is on the other end of pace - learning how to slow down. Everyone knows he can go 100mph. Can he drive 55 and make the right read/play? If he can master that art of ebbing and flowing he will get tons of easy baskets.

Ahh, got it we're saying similar things then.

Yeah I think that's coming but I hope it's not a major focus next season. More likely when we lose in the playoffs that it will get highlighted and they'll get to work on it.

In general I think the top factor there is his jumper which they're already working on. He's getting the looks in the half court but he's not nailing enough of them to put his defender in enough of a dilemma about whether to drop back or push up. I don't anticipate his jumper being a problem much longer do hopefully this gets resolved easily.

Another way he can improve this is to keep getting better at the PnR. It would be nice to have a shooter or lob threat C on the team but maybe Adams will give him a lift. He has to get better at it with Sengun.

Further, if Sengun becomes respectable just on wide open 3's, then it's lights out for opponents. I don't know how anyone will be able to stop the duo after that.

I think Jalen picking and choosing his spots will help everyone. Blending top speed with timely play calls. Udoka needs to make transition action an emphasis to offset all the PNR stuff. Half court sets will be dominated by Sengun until he can step out and shoot, but thats ok. Jalen will get his in those instances off of DHOs and punctual slashing. Finishing should be something that is highlighted this offseason as well as the shooting. For a guy that plays above the rim like Jalen he has to be better at capping those drives - hopefully adding some bulk will help there.

I think the thing I'm most excited about that virtually no one is talking about is Jalen being guarded by guys like Amen, Tari, and Bari out there day in and day out. Amen is one of the few guys in the league who can match Jalen's athleticism step for step - it will help Jalen to be a better player having all these higher level defenders now with some experience being thrown at him making him work - the only "easy" matchup out there is probably Sengun (and he still has length at the rim) and Reed because of size and poor lateral quickness. One of the consequences of this team being so deep is better all around play in practices. It's not like more than half the practice squad is G League guys - all of these guys are lotto talents at least and have legit aspirations to one day be all stars.
