TBH, I understood him better than I do with most of the leftist posters in this forum.

What's wrong with that? This election is about representation. Disabled people should have a voice too. That's the point.

    28% isn't extreme at all?

From 1984-1986, the corporate tax rate was 46% (Reaganomics).
    From 1987-1992, it was 40%.
    From 1993-2017, it was 35%.

Why should corporations pay a lower effective tax rate than me? I wish I only paid 28% in taxes.

This doom and gloom lands flat. Corporations survived for the past 40 years. They have record profits the past few years but what did they do with the money? Hoard cash and stock buybacks. They should pay their fair share.

Do you acknowledge that for every corporation that is hoarding cash, there is another dozen near bankruptcy

Clearly, Snoopy has never run a business other than maybe a street kimbab stall.

You're supposed to be made uncomfortable by and feel ashamed of anything different. Duh. That's the Republican way.

Corporations near bankruptcy don't pay tax. Tax rates impact how much corps will share in dividends vs reinvest. Reasons companies would reinvest into infrastructure or hiring is because it made more sense versus taking dividends. But when tax rates drop, investors would rather get the money now, and that's part of the reason we've seen the standard of living and corporate investment lag where it should be.

The problem with the Republicans is they think every immigrant of color is a criminal. 99% of them are just looking for a better life for their families.

Provide a source if you're going to say that.

Also, you're awfully wrong. Far more corporations are hoarding cash than they are facing bankruptcy.

"Non-banking U.S. firms have increased their hoards of cash, reaching $6.9 trillion, an amount larger than the GDP of all but two countries. Even as interest rates have risen, cash now represents $1 out of every $5 of total assets held by non-banking U.S. firms, according to our research."
