I don't mind them playing the kids today against a bad team to give some guys a day off, but why is Meyers batting cleanup? I know they don't have a lot of options with this lineup, but this dude loves leaving men on base.

It always hurts my heart when Pettis holds the runner even when it's probably the right thing to do. I just have no faith half this line up to do absolutely anything with men on.

 

I would agree if slow runner but Leon is supposed to be fast. With two outs he should be off at crack of bat and score easily. Either bad jump or bad play by 3rd base coach. Even if close I would have sent him anyway with Meyers coming up.
