The patent laws need work, there are things that are good for HUMANITY which should not have life long patents.

Patents should have an expiration to where they go into the well of anyone can use them, say 20 years etc.

"Communism" is why there are mRNA vaccines in the first place. Communism is why there is the tcp/ip packet switching protocol that is the basis of the modern Internet. Communism is why microprocessors exist.

Your idea of "communism" is government tax money funding "high risk" research as in research in things that are far from making a profit. When universities were funded to research things like quantum mechanics, did any one know it would lead to microprocessors? No. And therefore why the hell would private corporations fund that type of research? They don't see a return on investment on that type of research.

Tax players pay for the brunt of innovation because most innovation takes place well before what is being researched has any promises of profitablity.

Shareholders in our modern hyper instant trading economy means no one gives a **** about finyding research that might be profitable 15 years from now.

Elon Musk didn't invent the lithium ion battery that pretty much is backbone of the modern ev. That was done by actual geniuses in a basement lab in Oxford by UK tax players headed by John B Goodenough, famous UT engineering professor.

The geniuses who truly discover new things are researching things through tax payer funded programs.

'Republicans for Harris' Online Rally Attended by Over 70,000 People

Riggleman, once a part of the hard-right House Freedom Caucus and later an adviser to the committee that investigated the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, listed several reasons why he would not be supporting Trump.

"Number one, I don't want to vote for a felon. I think that's sort of ridiculous with 34 felony counts," he said, referring to Trump's conviction in a New York hush money case.

"Number two, I don't want to actually vote for a sexual assailant or a rapist," he added, a reference to Trump being found liable by a Manhattan jury of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll.

"I also don't want to vote for anybody who supported the January 6 insurrection. That's pretty bad. I also don't want to vote for anybody who supports dictators like Vladimir Putin, I don't want to vote for anybody who's a conspiracy theorist. I don't want to vote for anybody who can't tell the truth and who's an inveterate liar.

Kamala Harris Erases Donald Trump's Dramatic Lead On Mental Sharpness

Trump has attacked Harris as having an "extremely low IQ," while other conservatives have attacked her for being unable to speak unscripted without descending into "word salad." However, this poll suggests more voters think she is mentally sharper than Trump.

According to the poll, the majority of Americans now see Harris as more physically able to serve as president than Trump. When asked who was in better physical health to serve, Harris had 30-point lead, with 56 percent of respondents choosing her and only 26 percent chose Trump.

This marks a dramatic shift from the previous month when Trump held a 31-point lead over Biden on the same attribute.

Additionally, Harris led Trump by 9 percentage points (46 percent-37 percent) in being perceived as having the mental sharpness necessary for the presidency.

I remember a German candidate for the position of chancellor, Martin Schulz - when he was first nominated, the media did the exact same thing it is doing now with Kamala Harris - projecting "joy", etc. etc. etc. - he looked great in the polls early on.

But the more people actually heard him talk, the more they realized he was an utter loser. Even though people were rightfully tired of Merkel, they realized he was a disaster.

We will see the same happening with Kamala.

The more she talks, the more people will realize she is an idiot.

And Walz is not "the nice uncle" he is being portrayed as.

He is a very angry old socialist.

    LMAO

Every time Trump talks he sounds like a rambling idiot. As for the nice guy act, Trump's the man you don't want alone with your teenage daughter. He is a very angry and very old pervert and sociopath.
