Yea. That’s right. He’d still be here. He needed his fix. He chose pills first and injectable ketamine next. Ideally, he wouldn’t need anything. But, he did. At least he could have claimed he was California sober.

Uh huh. I mean...dude obviously never heard of Wake N Bake. A couple of small hits of the 420 in the morning and one is set at least until 2 pm-ish. Then, even if he tokes it up the rest of the day...which he wouldn't b/c everyone knows you fall asleep if you smoke too much, dude would have been set with his ganja high and gotten a good night's sleep albeit he wouldn't remember any of his dreams. It's not rocket science. What's so different about a high between a pill or ketamine and just toking up a little reefer? While the greenery can be abused, you burn yourself out smoking too much so you resort to smoking less. Sure, you imitate a Jeff Spicoli a bit. So, grab a surfboard and ride some waves. F*ck pickleball sh_t! And, it's really not addictive unless you count a few times not being able to sleep and maybe a headache or two while you get off of it. And, nothing beats the smell and taste of some quality bud that you can pick up at the local dispensary with unlimited funds. Why anyone want to go f-ing pill boozin' and keta-mealin' when you got nature's herb legally available? You don't need no damn personal assistant scoring illegal crap. You don't need no needles or liver death. Sure, you got the lungs to worry about but you also got edibles. You may need a bong or some papers if you want the smoke. You don't need to be going to no real estate home sales pretending you are a buyer so you can raid the home's medicine cabinet for more pills...which is absolutely pathetic by the way. ;)

Physical dependency and addiction are not synonymous

May not be synonymous but they do overlap.

They say ketamine has no withdrawal symptoms and you can't develop a physical dependency. But, that doesn't mean he didn't have a psychological dependency. Maybe that was part of the appeal for Perry? He liked the high without all the issues that came with the other stuff he did in the past. Sure, he was taking it because he was depressed...is what they are saying. Doesn't seem like a great way to treat depression if one needs 27 shots over 5 days. Just seemed completely unsustainable. And, if one of the effects is for you to basically fall asleep due to the anesthesia effects, then that opens up a world of possibilities for how you can die while taking it if you are not with someone. Perry wouldn't have died had he not entered the hot tub and was just sitting on his couch watching TV. So far, I haven't seen anything that says you can actually overdose on the stuff even if it is listed as a cause of death as there seem to be other contributing factors. Regardless, Perry was pushing the boundaries bigtime and it caught up with him.

Can’t imagine Perry applying his addiction to Ecstasy. The inside of his mouth would be ground to dust and he’d have cracked lips. That’s balls to the walls man. Plus, a lot of dancing.

I use ketamine about 1 time per week. Nasal spray. 60 mg. It’s pleasant but I can’t imagine getting injected.

Addiction is not a disease any more than depression or anxiety.

Wow, he was going deep into the k-hole multiple times a day that is crazy. How the hell do you play pickleball after shooting ketamine?
