I think Harris will win Nevada. There is going to be a vote on the ballot to enshrine abortion rights in their Constitution. This will increase Dem voter turnout. The same in Arizona
yeah, while I think the race is still pretty even, everything I'm reading suggests these numbers are delusional
also that Nevada has been a pro-union state. Biden/Harris team has been the most pro-union administration
Trump pissing off union workers the other night in his rambling 1-on-1 with Musk isn’t going to help in the Rust Belt or in states with a large unionized workforce.
1 trillion in credit card debts 3% in personal savings Americans are not stupid. There is your election in a nutshell. Everything else around Kameltoe and her fake campaign is just a mirage.
It's a fake campaign, and it will be a landslide victory for Trump. No need to even show up to vote. Game over.
LOL, their state of denial is fun to watch. Thank God most Americans don't believe the BS spurting out that con and felon's mouth, and don't want a fraud and traitor as President.
(Ignoring the labeling by the opponent as a reason to give up—that’s a really bad take.) That basically amounts to saying, 'I don’t know her policies.' She’s merely guessing and then criticizing it based on her guess. I don’t mind that so much, as long as she clarifies, 'If this is the policy, here’s what I think of it.'
I disagree. She has pretty quickly put out about a half dozen policy proposals in the past 48 hours. Some of the details have emerged almost as quickly. She is quickly giving us an idea of what a Harris administration would look like. I expect more to follow.
Many will disagree with me and that's OK. But I do not think policy is the catalyst for many to vote a specific way. It is the class president for high school mentality. I'm going to get a juke box for lunchroom, and free ice cream. Let's say I'm a 20-year-old in college. My candidate is a minority, youthful and all about change and hope. Even if that change has yet to be announced, which it will today. All my friends are voting for her, and if I don't, I'm not a part of the movement. crap, I have to get to the Pro Palestinian rally. Let's say I'm a 60-year-old in Woodville, Texas, where my parents still live. Kamala is a socialist. Well, that's the same as being a Commie pinko. she is letting everyone enter this country without issue. My cousin is going to lose her Job at Kroger. They are coming to take over our country. There are many on this board who have differing opinions than me on political beliefs and standings, but I will say that most on here dig a bit deeper than the average College student or someone that will only watch FOX. Folks, for most this is popularity contest. Much like baseball All Star voting. Agree to disagree
the plan's details (whatever they are) will be announced today: Kamala Harris to propose ban on ‘price gouging’ for food, groceries The vice president on Friday will make her most substantive economic policy announcement since launching her campaign. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/08/15/kamala-harris-economic-policy-2024/
Not much at all. We’ll see the details then. "The exact details of the campaign’s plan were not immediately clear"
well, you realize that "policy" ("I missed the 'price control' policy then") is akin to a strategic goal; the details that follow in accordance with the policy are essentially objectives--i.e., strategy versus tactics. So I'd still say her "policies" are becoming clearer with each passing day.
