I'm curious as to how the coverage will be of the protests at the DNC. These protestors are wanting to be noticed for sure. I'm thinking it might get a touch ugly.
CNN Story linked above: Tim Walz’s 2006 campaign falsely described details about his arrest for drunk driving in 1995 When Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz first ran for Congress in 2006, his campaign repeatedly made false statements about the details of his 1995 arrest for drunk and reckless driving. According to court and police records connected to the incident, Walz admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96 mph in a 55 mph zone in Nebraska. Walz was then transported by a state trooper to a local hospital for a blood test, showing he had a blood alcohol level of .128, well above the state’s legal limit of 0.1 at the time. But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard. The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night. None of that was true.
it won't get ugly, too much positivity on the Dems side......and they will listen to the protestors sit down and talk with them, unlike the GOP. DD
1. Inflation is already declining while Biden is in office 2. Stopping inflation doesn't reduce prices 3. Trump could have curtailed spending when he was in office. He didn't.
I will check back after the convention. Inside the building all will be peaches and cream, but I don't think this group of folks is going to be placing flowers in others hair and singing Michael Row your boat ashore.
Donald Trump would not sleep with a black woman. Plus - Donald Trump is too old for Kamala. Kamala has dated a wide variety of men over her lifetime.
@Kemahkeith @AroundTheWorld @Os Trigonum Make sure you tune in for another rambling bout of incoherent whining from your boy Trump @ 4:30
Right - but that isn't limited to one side. There are a smaller, but just as vocal group of posters that parrot Trump rhetoric. That is the nature of politics in the USA in 2024.
Oh ok - make sure you put that on a red hat as a messaging strategy bro - just include the "well ackshually" first.
She will direct her administration to increase scrutiny of potential mergers between large supermarkets and food producers, “specifically for the risk that the proposed merger would raise grocery prices for consumers,” her campaign said. This is awesome. Mergers are anticompetitive and hurt the consumer.
He would sleep with many women, but wouldn't take them seriously. I also said "safe". He has plenty to lose, so safety/risk would stop most encounters. The Western World has serious issues with women because there's a legislative imbalance between their logic and emotion. Basically what's happening is -- children have been given adult power, but the parent (men) is still responsible for everything.
