I teach junior high. Kids do this all the time. But it's kind of understandable that they're not yet fully aware of their surroundings and how their actions affect others. What gets me is when I go to faculty meetings or conferences to find adults doing the same exact things we get annoyed at the kids for doing.
Power just keeps going on and off at intermittent times. I’m getting really pissed off at this point.
I've noticed that to, at least once a week I go home and the clock on the microwave and stove are way off and I know at some point the power went out. After the past 2 storms, you would think everything would be solid and ready.................hell, we lost power at work on Tuesday afternoon for 3 hours after a cell came through (290 & Hempstead area)
Yea...these are just quick flashes were it goes off and then it comes on like three seconds later...for no apparent reason. All the appliances make a beeping noise. Then, you have everything back up and it does it again. Then, again. It's like it comes in twos or threes. I guess they are working on something. I hope it doesn't keep happening as it just raises my stress level. I had about ten of them between yesterday and this morning. Then, it happens at 5:30 am-ish this morning and it's impossible to sleep through that racket.
When you drop your car off with your mechanic after carefully explaining the issue you're having, then later that evening, stopped at a red light in your other car, you look up to see the mechanic driving YOUR car home for the night.
No Daylight Savings Time in ONE state (Arizona). I was so confused when I got here a couple days ago for a trip, the time is 2 hours off but it's Mountain Time. So it's really Pacific Time here right now.
When valet parking guys touch and change and modify and adjust every button and setting imaginable in your car. The last time I did valet they actually turned on my 4x4. Seriously what purpose do you have messing with the 4x4 settings? Mind you it was mandatory valet and they moved my truck about 10 feet into a parking space. Only acceptable touching is seat adjustment. Other than that, keep your hands off my s***
Annoyed that the other 49 states force us to change our clocks twice a year. Just stick with daylight savings time year-round. Mexico stopped changing clocks last year.
Honestly, CarPlay is overhyped and annoying. It's a crippled version of your phone. Other than seeing maps on the car's screen, what exactly is the point..... I can't even pinch and zoom in Google maps......
The people at the car wash do this every friggin time...........you drove it like 40 feet........WHY!!!!!!!!!!!
It would be cool if you could put your car into "valet park" mode and it would lock down everything, preventing the valet or car wash person from changing all your stuff.
When you text someone and they immediately: 1. Call you 2. Text you and tell you to call them (when you don't answer) Not to be rude, but.....the reason I'm texting you is because I don't want to talk to you. Can't you just reply to my text? Why do I have to call you?
