People who think turning the thermostat down to 60 will make the house cool off faster. Or they think if I turn it from 78 to 68, the temperature should INSTANTLY go down to 68.

I love my wife and kids, but they're killing me!

The dream was to build a sustainable chocolate company. Therefore, I need the chocolate to cool down as fast as possible. ;)

I recorded Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior on HBO a couple of nights ago.

Movies on HBO are completely unedited... or they're supposed to be. I saw one edit in this movie.
Was the scene when a woman was pulled out of a car, her boobs flying out, and got raped?
    No.
Was the scene where one of the bad guys gets his fingers chopped off?
    No.
Was the any of the shots where bad guys or good guys are getting violently killed?
    No.
It was the scene where, after Max has been run off the road, a bad guy walks up to his dog, and shoots the dog with a crossbow. The movie doesn't actually show the dog get shot - it just shows the crossbow followed by the sound of a dog squealing (or it's supposed to). HBO edited out the sound of the dog squealing.

You gotta be f**king kidding me.

    Power interruptions

Anybody getting those temporary flash power interruptions today where the power cuts off for a few seconds and back on?

Wonder why that is happening? ERCOT says they have enough power. I picture some power guy at a board flipping an on/off switch and saying "Just Kidding!". Funny...it happened again immediately after I submitted this post. lol

People living in Texas who think 78 is a reasonable temperature for the inside of their home.

The problem is that there is a significant delay, at least on my work computer, and I’ve jumped right into things and my coworkers are looking at a blank screen for 7 seconds. So now I do ask, I guess I’m an annoying ****face now :(

People who just walk slowly with absolutely zero self awareness in general, at any public place whatsoever…

People who decide to group together and talk at the most inconvenient places in public (doorways, entrances/exits to escalators, etc.) forcing people to go around an area that already bottlenecks.

These are the same people who drive the same way. It’s a good point in favor of ‘are we in a simulation’ because surely these are NPCs.
