After the Caleb Ferguson devastating walk off loss who would have thought we would win the next 8 games.
Dezenzo had some meatballs in the middle of the plate that he hasn't been close on. That plus the 2 errors. Rough game for him,.
We are now 65-55 on the year riding an eight game win streak. 42 games left. All we need is 25 wins to hit 90 for the year @Houstunna That is a pace of winning just under 6 of every 10 games. Definitely doable at this point if we get some clutch hits and catch a few breaks along the way. Lots of work left to do but taking 8 out of 9 on the road not easy ti do. Going from 10 down to 2.5 up in just over a month is incredible. Nice to start winning some of these close games. Glad we got this one in the win column.
We’ve won 8 in a row. Due for a letdown game. Wouldn't surprise me if we actually lost one to the White Sox. but just 1
Of course the resident maggot posts negativity in the midst of positivety. Dude seems jealous the Killer B era couldn't do what this era is. Rockets win b2b championships....... "but you aint **** if you can't 3-peat".
I hear you... but you're clearly an Astros fan, past and present. That puss doesn't celebrate anything about the current Stros -- championships be damned.
Hard to discern between that and 1986, equally mind numbing series losses. Nolan Ryan with that shot up the middle that he just needed to let go to the SS for an inning ending double play. I think we would have won that world series.
With a healthy Tucker, I don’t think there’s any team I would bet on to beat the Astros in a 7 game series.
And I still think JV has something in store for us down the stretch and into the playoffs. Might be a blessing in disguise for him to have a fresh arm the rest of the way. I hope we go to a 6 man rotation. Agreed with Tucker back we will be the team to beat. Our lineup will be lengthened to 6 batters, we just need one of the other 3 to start becoming clutch.
