... this is the equivalent of an employer for Ted Bundy just "firing him" after finding out he killed a dozen women in horrific fashion

Seemed like they were low key racing to the finish line with their nuke program, but now there's nothing holding anyone back from a few well aimed missiles.

Frankly, there so much burning **** around the world for me to focus directly on Iran. Them being in the news as some ally or mastermind fpr every other foreign crisis makes me think Bush/Cheney ****ed up the wrong country, but we blew our load with death and destruction twice and got nothing from it except the GFC and unpayable debt with near trillion per year interest payments

Remember that they wanted to go after Iran, too. This was John McCain in 2007:
No one with a clue was confused about who was supporting Muslim terrorists. It was always Iraq, Iran, Libya, Afghanistan, the PLO, Yemen, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia (though not necessarily the leadership of Saudi Arabia, more other moneyed/clerical interests). Bin Laden became the face of terrorism because of 9/11, so going after him was inevitable (though missing Pakistan's involvement in protecting him was a huge failure). Saddam was an open and proud supporter of terrorism, so he had to go. Same with Qaddafi. If we had any sense, we would have taken out the leadership of Iran, Hezbollah (Lebanon), the PLO/Hamas, the corrupt Pakistani intelligence apparatus that was protecting al Queda, and the Houthis at the same time. We were there, we had the means, but we didn't do it. There was too much opposition domestically.
