Right now, this team's biggest Achilles heel is the poor offense from 2/3 of the outfield, and Pressly pitching in the 8th inning of close games. They HAVE to either get RP back into a good groove asap or you have to move him into the regular non-high-leverage bullpen. I'm not a RP hater, I just don't trust him and haven't for over a year now. I would be much happier seeing Scott in the 7th and Abreu in the 8th right now.
Lol yeah I'm one of the few who grew up Astros, Rockets and Cowboys fans. I still watch and root for the Texans as long as they aren't on at the same time or playing each other.
Cowboys are an awesome franchise. Fans at every Buffalo Wild Wing, every game across the country. One girl in Orange County (2019) knew I wasn't a fan of her team (the entire bar knew), but she still showed plenty love for Houstunna. This happened the day after Washington's lucky a** stole a championship from your Stros.
everyone was talking about losing Joey and Wagner is showing to be the better big leaguer at the moment but hey that’s how it goes sometimes a throw end can become something great hell we didn’t think yordon would be who he is when we got him
My father grew up in Deer Park, we lived up in a Dallas suburb from 78 on, he was a huge HST sports fan but when the Oilers left he converted to a Cowboys fan. He hated JJ with a vengeance. (And BA) I always had a good time ****ing with him about JJ. Sadly he passed in 2016 and didn’t get see the Astros chips…..
Swapping Abreu and Pressly wouldn’t have made sense if you want Pressly to pitch in lower leverage situations. Abreu came in with the tying run at the plate in the middle of an inning facing the cleanup hitter. He pitched a second inning against 5-6-7. Pressly came in for a clean inning without the tying run at the plate to face the 8-9-1. The Rays had about a 6% higher chance of winning when Abreu came in then when Pressly did.
Yessir. Episode 74- what is an ace. Deep dive on arrighetti. It’s 2 hours long (sorry, notsorry). Give you a lot of time to kill in the hospital.
