It wouldn't make me stop posting, it would just put what I'm saying closer in line with the things the cultists say....because if Jalen played a lot better, some of those things might finally become true. When Jalen had his fluke hot shooting streak, I enjoyed it, and had positive things to say about it....while acknowledging that I thought it was unsustainable....because obviously he wasn't going to become a 47% 3 point shooter. If he actually played well, the conversation would still be about Jalen....it would just be more positive. If he continues to be a failure, the conversation will end because he'll no longer be on the Rockets.....and a new topic will become the driving force behind conversation. Crazy that I have to spell out the obvious like this, but I'm starting to know the level my audience is operating at better than in the past.
Fix'd it for ya... Lol... my point is that I'm sure all the aforementioned players had some fans saying, "Maybe he's a late boomer" or "He so young... wait till next season, he's going to show the world that he's the next Michael-Kobe-Shaq". For the last time.... "I HOPE Jalen Green takes it by the horns and becomes the alpha dog that my team needs!!" Go Rockets!!! (P.S.) You/everyone is welcome to rebuttal my take, but just an fyi, I'm through talking with Jalen huggers! Yes, I SAID HUGGERS, there is no other way to describe someone who can't stand the fact that (at the moment) not everyone is 100% sold on Jalen. This is for my good friend: Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
You are arguing with air. No one you debate claims what you think they claim. They only respond to unhinged talking points about Green. Basically the train of thought of people like you : Step one: say something unhinged about Green like comparing him to Anthony Bennet. Step two: someone says that's a stupid take and expresses why through data Step three: get offended for being corrected and say stuff like "why can't people accept that not everyone is sold on Jalen Green 100%" I'm considered one of the biggest "Jalen huggers" and I'm not even sold on Jalen 100%. So you need examine what people are saying about Green before you get your jimmies rustled. People like me will put down posters who are incapable of measured criticism.
They only ever mattered to casuals and children who haven't learned any better. Keep following basketball though, one of these days you might figure out why basing a player evaluation of a chucker on points per game is flat out embarrassing.
He didn't, he had 8 unsustainably hot shooting games, then 9 terrible games to end a season full of disappointment.
