Right now, her campaign strategy mostly focusing on introducing Kamala Harris (and Tim Walz) and telling their stories (along with their high level vision), which makes sense since they are relatively new compared to Trump. My guess is she will eventually provide more details, but she has the advantage of not having any solidly held positions and will be able to craft her platform to her advantage.

I get the logic behind playing it safe, but "waiting it out" rarely works in presidential campaigns. look at Clinton in 16, Romney in 12, Dukakis in 88, etc. they all avoided the spotlight and it backfired. Voters expect and need transparency, so hiding just makes candidates look weak. Contrast that with Obama in 08 or Trump in 16 and you'll see they stayed engaged, dominated the convo, and built momentum. Harris needs to do the same, or she might lose independents. If she can't handle interviews now, she'll struggle even more when the debates hit. it was obvious biden was not going to win, so perhaps kamala is just the hail mary as Dems regroup for 2028. just my theory.

Obama was nothing like Kamala. he was on late night TV, primetime sunday night news, multiple press conferences, Q&A town halls, several public events, rallies on top of all that, etc. Obama's campaign was very open to the media. Republicans just used those lines in their "Obama-cult" attacks, similar to what Democrats do now with their "Trump-cult" attacks. also you forget Obama's website which had several policy positions on there. what Harris is doing is not one winning presidential campaigns typically do. last one who did it was Bush '04 but lucky for him he was going up against Kerry who wasn't a good candidate, the economy was generally pretty good in most places and booming in others, and there was an ongoing war.
