You mentioned getting someone in the offseason... when there was no need to do so based on Chas's previous season plus the perceived depth with Loperfido, Leon, and others in the system. And they did pick up Cabbage as a lottery ticket. First base and stop gap starting pitching were the issues...
I trust at least one of the prospects will pan out. I'm more concerned about corner infielders esp if Bregs is gone.
