It's that delusional thinking that will be their downfall. They just don't get it. Trump and Vance are making it easy for those on the fence to vote for Harris and Waltz. They are underestimating the Black voters, LGBQT voters, Latino and Hispanic voters, and Women voters that see them as threats.

 

It is really sad to see how devastated Walz is at the rallies.

Political ads are cringey, but all of those are, I believe, basically accurate descriptions of his bio. I didn't read the last one as implying that he was in Afghanistan. If he was fighting in Afghanistan, he wouldn't say he is "supporting" them.

i think drag shows are dumb. drag brunch shows are dumber. drag performers reading books to kids in public libraries is dumber and inappropriate.

i dont get the appeal of watching some (fat) dude dancing around to bad disco music while wearing a sequined gown and clown makeup. but to each their own. lots of people go to drag brunches so there is clearly a market for them for some reason.

but i dont obsess over it like right wingers do. and then look at all the right wing politicians/trumpers who like to dress in drag...JD vance, george santos, rudy guiliani. trump even did a whole comedy routine with rudy in drag where he motorboated rudy.

why are they so against something that they are clearly so very into?

If you were to steelman a parent's decision to take them to a "drag show" what do you think that would look like?

I'm just curious if you actually looked into this manner or just reading surface level clock baity headlines.

 

Trump has had a lot of success not focusing on policy - and his opponents have learned that when they do issue their policy, Trump doesn’t follow suit and instead just attacks his opponents policy to great success.

The days of Mitt Romney, Al Gore and even Hilary Clinton offering detailed and specific policy are likely gone for the time being.

At some point policy will be touched on but neither side will dig into policy until they have to.

Harris has a lot of women high in her inner circle, and Trump isn’t sure how to deal with how they run their campaign because he isn’t used to it. We will have to wait and see how this all plays out.

 

I'm hoping he goes for hard misogynist for the fun sound bytes.

Harris isn’t a a purist and she is more of a pragmatist than the left or right realize. She will support what will get her elected and what will allow her to have success. She isn’t going to be an extreme left winger unless the majority of the country goes that way.

She is more like Obama or Clinton or GH Bush than a fire brand.

If she wins, I will be very excited to see women having a large say at the highest levels of government. There are going to be more women with influence than ever before and they have a lot to offer.

 

Right now Kamala has the winning policy "I'm not Trump."
