France as a nation would probably have considered it a miracle if they had beaten the Men or the Women in the finale. Not sure. But that's my hunch. So think that is still a thing. In the U.S think as fans we are bored of winning all the time so it's just not a big deal if we had been upset. We all would just move on to next sport. Our passion is limited. It's not rabid. And that's why I think the Titans Mosh Pit idea is gonna be interesting. If they go rabid, it's awesome for the NFL. The NFL needs it. But how you gonna get an entire stadium to go manchester united rabid in a mosh pit when most of 'em are boring wealthy people. The Red Rowdies only lasted about a week at a high level. It almost worked, but petered out fast.
The refs jammed runs and kept the men's game from being a blow out. And, even though the French women tried to play tight D, that game was made close by the same thing. Home cookin. Nevertheless, great games to watch.
