The family of the late singer/songwriter Isaac Hayes has sent Donald Trump a letter ordering him to cease and desist playing 'Hold On/I'm Coming' at his rallies, and pay them $3 Million for past unauthorized use of the song. The Hayes estate owns the copyright to the song, and has requested in the past that Trump stop using it at his rallies. It has become such a popular staple with MAGA fans because that is the song that Trump typically performs his "dance" to. The demand letter states that Trump has violated Title 17, US Code Section 501 of the Copyright Act over 100 times by playing the song at his rallies. It then said that if Trump doesn't immediately do the following, they will be filing a lawsuit: 1. Stop playing the song. 2. Go back and scrub the clips being used by the campaign in ads or social media that have that song. 3. Pay $3 Million for past unauthorized use of the song. 4. Issue a statement in writing that he has been using the song without permission.
Trump should do his shitty dance to Kid Rock's music Side note: the Hayes family should sue the Trump campaign if he continues to use their song without permission
they should sue for sure how dare the Trump campaign try to sully this man’s name by having him associated with such filth…it’s so disrespectful they should stick to Kid Rock and this guy
Section 301 tariffs on China were implemented while Trump was in office and are still there. Trump actually reduced some of those percentages on imports of steel, other manufactured goods, mostly related to O&G, infrastructure and raw materials. Meanwhile Biden and his team increased those tariffs. What the **** are you talking about? https://www.visualcapitalist.com/comparing-new-and-current-u-s-tariffs-on-chinese-imports/
It is a shame this needs to be explained to you. Targeted tariffs are different than the blanket tariffs Trump said he wants.
Why is air wing Marine JD Vance dogging on another dude's service? He's a fellow pog /fobbit ike Waltz. The only difference is Waltz isn't an ******* fascist like Vance. I'll and is actually pleasant and feels more genuine to be around. He doesn't have a venture capitalist background. That's always a plus.
Why is he even attacking Waltz' service? It makes no sense The Marine Corps is full to the brim of Magalites so Vance isn't going to get the normal dogging of being a air wing pog that most air wing people get from Marine grunts but at the end of the day he's seen just as much combat as Waltz... None.
Why did you delete it? Honestly this was the first credible link of Waltz at the very best misspeaking and at the worst lying: I checked if it's the official archived PDF from the mn.gov site and it is. I was hoping it was bad faith actors attributing waltz to saying this when someone else said it but the document clearly states Waltz is the one who said it. Honestly this is the first time there is any credibility to any claim he exaggerated. He also misspoke about the base being in Iraq when it was in Afghanistan. Had a overnight stay at Bagram but don't remember much as I was sedated and high as **** the entire time.
There have been about 10 examples of stolen valor posted already. In this one he refering to when he was a congressman and not in the national guard. Also, this is the planned remarks. He didnt say it in the actual event though.
Okay so with context this is a nothing burger. The other examples I've seen were out of context bad faith tweets with sentences typed that did not match what the video said. This one I thought did then you actually provided the context which is a upside down world and now you've put me back into the camp of "you people are reaching for air". If these statements weren't even publicly spoken and he was referring to his time in Congress but was just poorly typed, then you are reaching. I'll admit the wording of the text makes it seem like he's saying he was in Bagram while in the national guard. Try harder.
Even the Harris/Walz campaign admits Walz lied. They have had to issue a correction. What does it say about you that even when Walz admits to being at fault you don't believe it? https://www.nytimes.com/2024/08/10/us/politics/walz-guns-war-military.html the others have been just as bad, you just don't have the constitution to interpret them.
He said he carried weapons for war while in the military and wants to keep it that way. It was poorly worded and at face value makes it sound like he went to war. But I doubt Waltz or even Vance ever dare say that ever saw combat. They are self aware enough to realize how easily that claim can be debunked. Like I wouldn't believe a headline at face value that suggests Vance lied and said he was in a combat role. Because it's one of those things that is easily debunkable and looks horrible also if you intentionally misled people to believe you deployed in a combat role.
