Nope the burden of proof goes to the person who makes the accusation. If you cant back it up then dont make the accusation. The fact that you cant means I wasted a bunch of time responding to you. Let's just agree to disagree and move on.
You’re accusing baseball of banning Luhnow because of threats of other teams making less money… sounds even more ridiculous when typed. You’re also the only one hanging onto that conspiracy theory here. Thus, you have to prove that, which you can’t. I’ve accepted that he was doing a helluva lot more breaking of all sorts of conventions that put a target on him long before the Astros were actually good…. And this has been well reported over the years and nobody was surprised (except you) that baseball decided they’d had enough of the Luhnow’s toxic corporate culture actions.
The circle jerk continues, let's get back to talking baseball instead of talking about things you can't prove. You've got an opinion, I've got an opinion we're never going to agree. I just know we lost the best GM in MLB, maybe we can agree on this.
I've seen nothing in print that proves what you are contending happened. Seems as though you're the conspiracy theorist.
Sorry, dude, but it's 5ish years later. If you haven't figured it out by now, you should probably just get over it.
Doesn't matter what really happened, the perception is that the Luhnow era was golden and then this happened
https://v.redd.it/zdxk2pw0i3id1 apparently this is not a homerun. but if the ball hit the outfielder and bounce over the wall it's a home run make it make sense MLB
Rothensal had a article on The Athletic today and it was more of a thinking out loud than rumors he's heard. But he was wondering if the Rangers would try to save money and put a bunch of players on waivers to see if anyone claims them, just like what the Angels did last year. The potential players would be Andrew Heaney, Dave Robertson, Kirby Yates, and Nathan Eovaldi. All rentals but Eovaldi will most likely reach his vesting option but would most likely opt out because he could potentially get more money as a free agent. Any interest? I would welcome all but Heaney. Waivers would be from worst record to best. Any idea if teams can claim all of them? Would suck if a team claims majority before Houston has a shot. Players needs to be on 40 man roster by Aug 31st to be eligible for playoffs right?
