Trump and today's Republican party are a threat to democracy and the Constitution. As a McCain Republican who values democracy and the Constitution, when faced with essentially two choices, you go out of your way to ensure the right choice wins. That includes endorsing and voting for the right choice. Your premise that there is a "moderate Republican" option is incorrect. There isn't one here. He's also not the only Republican doing this. There are many never-Trump Republicans who have endorsed Biden and now Harris over Trump for the exact same reason.
The thing is, the leftist extremists here in this forum DO appreciate that. You can sense how eager they would be to silence those they disagree with. Because they can't, they resort to hateful attacks.

Probably not, but I can still have my personal opinion. I have a Jewish friend who lives in Toronto and it is CRAZY how much the Islamist threat against Jews has increased there in the last years. You get what you vote for.
I don’t think it will matter. I am friends with lots of veterans. Almost all of them that are rabid would never vote for a democrat anyway. Veterans are no different than other people - their politics color their views and vice versa.
