I just saw a Youtube video of a guy who said he was now voting for Kamala Harris that introduced himself by saying “My name is Jimmy. I’m a white, heterosexual 60 y/o male. I drive a Ford F-350. I have an American flag tattooed on my arm. Did not go to college. I was a republican for 34 years. Cast my 1st vote for Ronald Reagan, and I’m voting for Kamala Harris.” he knew all the lines of attack MAGA would try to hit him with now that he’s defected and did a preemptive strike
No sir it wasn't.. Neither was staying in an air condition tent.... But nevertheless they both served, no matter what their job was.... All military personnel don't train for combat, that's the part you don't want to recognize... I recognize the part where Waltz and Harris campaign need to keep it on the up and up... But don't act as if JV was Special Op... He wasn't.. Be he served.. and that's all that matters to me.. T_Man
Here is the funny thing about all of this... I am an Ari Force Vet.. Trained in Combat and served in Desert Storm and also a Disabled Vet.. My brother-in-law is also an Army Vet he also served in Desert Storm and a trained MP... We talked briefly about this Waltz and JV thing and both of us really don't give 5 cents to crap.. The people who are talking the most about this is Civilians those who never served.. The others are those that are out for revenge and want air time on tv... They both served and for they could have stopped their... JV is a Marine and Waltz served 24 years and that is a helluva accomplishment.. So if you guys really think vets care about the other non-sense.. NEWS FLASH... We really don't. T_Man

Very few people do, I feel like. I think most folks see it for what it is. The exceptions are fan boys of The swiftboat vetererans guy, and MAGA devotees grasping at straws in effort to try and kill the enthusiasm the Harris/Walz ticket has captured. He's got that likability thing everyone said W had. (Only much more so, IMHO.) He's got smarts. And unlike the GOP nominee for VP, he seems like he would be just fine if he ever had to assume the role of president.
Folks are getting triggered walz said he carried a weapon of war in war? He did? Man was in the national guard, which last i checked carried weapons, trained with it and the national guard is an armed force. Man didn't claim he fought in the war killing folks, but he is still a vet who should b respected just the same as those who encountered active combat. 24 years of service should b honored and respected not downplayed and ignored due to swiftboating.
