while I really liked her handling of those protestors the other day, I like her approach better here acknowledge their concerns, state her position, but still let them know that they are not about to filibuster this rally and stop her from saying everything that she needs to say
It is a sad state of affairs when we have to narrow down our choice to sane vs insane. Kamala was not my first choice if there was a full primary, but she is killing it.
I'm in the same boat. She was not at all good in the 2020 campaign. But she seems to have grown as a candidate and learned well while on the job. It's impressive and also promising for the future if she maintains that type of growth. While she was not my top choice, I have to give props where they are due.
I severely underestimated Kamala Harris…I thought she’d be unlikable on a level like Hillary Clinton but she has been making all the right moves, and it looks like she has really improved a lot since we last saw her in the Dem primaries picking Tim Walz as her VP and the way she’s galvanized the base, she’s exactly what we needed at this point in time with Biden stepping aside with a just a few months until the election
and this goes to show just how hated MAGA and the republican party are Trump beat Biden in a debate that effectively ended Biden’s campaign, got shot at, and had his convention…and after all that, he was only up a few points on Biden Dems replace Biden with a candidate with any sort of pulse, and his lead completely evaporates in a matter of weeks nobody likes the GOP’s trash ass policies or cares about their culture war garbage if the Dems don’t toss out Hillary Clinton in 2016, there’s a world were they’re trying to win their 5th straight election Trump as an incumbent president lost by 8 million votes to Joe Biden, a candidate no one was excited about…2022 midterms with high inflation, Biden’s low approval rating, and everything else the republicans had to attack the Democrats on, and what happened? What everyone thought was gonna be a red wave was a red trickle. Dems have been massively over-performing in special elections as well. now the Dems have a ticket they are actually excited to vote for and it’s not just an anti-Trump campaign…with that being the case, I can easily see him losing by even more votes than last time
I love hearing Waltz at these rallies. The difference in the two campaigns is striking. Would be insane if Trump is elected when you see that difference.
