You are entitled to your opinion - I just listened to the exchange 3-4 times and was expecting her to be nasty or unreasonable to those chanting based on what right-wing social media (and was open to the possibility that she may well have been). I saw nothing when I watched it, I don't think or see objectively how someone could criticize how she handled it. It was a bunch of "nothing" to me objectively. As for her chickening out of a Fox debate. There was never a Fox debate scheduled, there was already another debate scheduled at the same time a place.... there wasn't a Fox debate scheduled, so there was nothing for her to chicken out of. Now - if she refuses to debate Trump at all, then it is fair to criticize her and call her chicken - but her chickening out of a debate on Fox that never existed, was never agreed to - and would be the same date and time as a debate already agreed upon? That is a REAL stretch. I am sure at some point Harris will do something that will deserve scorn, but I don't think either of these are examples of that at all.

Inflation was low at the end of his Presidency due to COVID. Inflation started going up when the vaccine started getting put in people's arms and the world started opening back up. It then continued when companies realized they had us over a barrel and were making record profit margins. It takes a MINIMUM of a year to 2 years for any President's fiscal policy to affect the economy.

You know I keep seeing this and this is just not right.... I saw the interview with Waltz commanding officer on CNN last night and I see where all of this BS is coming from.. Waltz ex-commanding officer is basically butt hurt and now he's doing what he can to get Waltz back.. 1. I know most of you have seen the timeline for Waltz and that basically tells the story... I will also try to explain other military lingo along the way. 2. Lets start off with this disclaimer first.. After you have done your 20 you can basically retire when ever you want, you just have to notify your commanding officer and submit your paperwork. Once you have done 20 you are set for life... Most try to do 25 because you get better benefits... 3. I am going to just summarize this... According to the time line Waltz informed his commanding officer early in 2005 that he had submitted his paperwork for a political position in 2004... So all was done correctly.. Yes there was some back and forth with waltz and his commanding officer on if he submitted his paperwork in for his discharge. So basically put he did put in his paperwork and he was discharged... Now according to his commanding office Waltz when above him to get the discharge signed which in truth is breaking the chain o command.... So here is the closed door scenario.. High ranking enlisted personnel do this crap all the time.. Especially when they are friends with a high ranking officer.. The issue now is his commanding officer is butt hurt that he did that and now is trying to basically get revenge. In the military it's all about a couple of things.. What your MOS/AFSC is WHO YOU KNOW There is no dark side to this or anything else.. The individuals who spreading this crap is all about revenge... So this is why you're seeing conflicting stories from individuals. So yes Waltz and Harris crafty writers need to watch how they are saying things... They are playing with words and that's not good.
