I’m disagreeing with that this is a choice of believing credible people. The Mn National Guard established that he did serve at the rank and was at that rank when decided to retire. It was a post service policy that he was reduced at rank for benefits purpose.
Ok, it seemed that you thought my post was inaccurate but I am pretty sure what I said was true. He didn't meet the requirements to retire at the higher rank so his bio stating otherwise needed to be amended. I like Walz better than Vance. Trump is going to mess around and lose this race.
He served at the higher rank and was they rank when he retired. Once he stepped down he was reduced in rank. So it is accurate he was that rank at the time retirement.
Again I will note questioning Walz’s rank in the type of personal attack that the current Republican Party seems more focused on then going after policy. This worked for attacking John Kerry but Walz isn’t the same as Kerry. Walz has also dealt with this in previous races but if Republicans want to keep on bringing up this and claiming that he’s a rapid socialist go ahead.
It's very strange on where they want to focus their attacks when the man has a proven history of looking out for veterans. Even if his team did screw up some wording, or Walz himself said something incorrectly, the man is looking out for veterans as proven by his previous voting policy. I know it's election season and people will attack the pettiest of thing, but hell, when you have an individual that can actually prove he backed a certain percentage of the population, how can you argue against that?
