The 2024 Presidential Election will pit a team of capitalistic elitists against a team of career public servants

    the incumbent team represents career public servents;
    • biden has been a career public servant, as well as an adjunct law professor
    • Kamala has been a career public servant
the challengers team represents capitalistic elitists
which one of these teams will fight for the economic interests of
    • the top 1%?
    • the middle class?

It’s more like a team of badass warriors versus a walking corpse and a cackling hyena. Keep trying dude. You reek of desperation. Lol

I don't quite know where to put this.

But who is currently running the presidential office?

    We had a hurricane.
We have the stock market all over the place.
Unrest in Europe and the Middle east.

I'm just curious why we have not heard anything on these from the white house.
    Maybe I'm missing something.

Joe approved aid for FL, GA and SC over the past 3 days. The stock market had a horrible day on Monday but is rebounding today (up 700 points). First-time claims for unemployment benefits fell last week to 233,000 from the prior week’s upwardly revised total of 250,000, according to Department of Labor data released Thursday.

The standard 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.47% this week, mortgage financing giant Freddie Mac said Thursday. That’s down substantially from last week’s average of 6.73% and marks the lowest level since May 2023. This week’s drop was the biggest since late December.

There's that little thing of the hostages being freed last week, was Joe out there talking about that before it happened.

What would you like him to say about the war?? I am sure there is nothing he can tell us on the negotiations of a cease fire since they do that behind closed doors, just like the hostages.

I don't think you are asking a serious question, my question is, why does the gop not try to pass anything so Joe can sign it.............I know they don't want to pass the border bill because of trump but have they actually passed anything in like a year? Any they have the majority so they should be doing something besides trying to name an airport in trump`s name

    Thank you for the info.
I have not heard any press conferences from KJP.
I guess the lack of information had me wondering.
    Maybe I phrased it incorrectly.
I said maybe I missed something.
This was not intended to be a dem gop thing.
Sorry you took it as such.

The WH usually has daily press briefings. Are you saying that the WH stopped giving these daily briefings?

Here's the thing. Trump's support will never fall very low. I heard someone say his floor is 45% and his ceiling is 48%.

So there is about 3% of people who might vote for Trump but could sit at home or possibly vote for Harris. It's that close.

The Harris/Walz campaign has to be near perfect. So far they've done a great job. Trump has also had some huge blunders and isn't really doing that much campaigning. Also in September he'll have to take some time to go to his sentencing for his felony conviction.

But judging by his actions, his campaign is feeling the momentum shift away from him. Thus he tried to hold the press conference and changed his mind about about the debate.

But he is also trying to pull a fast one on the debate. His plan is to do the first one which he says has to be FOX where he believes he can pack the audience with friendlies and get a friendly moderator.

Then he will declare debate victory and back out of the other two debates. It seems like the Harris campaign won't fall for that trap. But the fact that he's doing these things are signs that his campaign has some level of concern.

Let's hope more people who never voted before get out and vote to ensure Trump is gone for good. All we can hope is that the blue surge is coming to wash that toxic doom and gloom spewing old creep out of our lives for good.

Make no mistake. Trump is only running for President again for 3 reasons...

    1) To escape imprisonment for his criminal acts.
    2) To enrichen himself, anyway possible, legal or not, through policies and actions initiated home and abroad, quid pro quo, and under the table.
3 To feed his constant need for attention and power.

Trump doesn't give a damn about the middle class and blue collar workers. They are beneath him. It's all a show put on by a big fraud, the snake oil salesman in a suit. Trump is incapable of really caring about anyone but himself. He puts himself on a pedestal above everyone else. Always has. Always will. The sociopathic pathological liar is unfit to serve, and certainly not to be trusted with our nation's secrets.

We already know Trump was showing off US secrets to foreign leaders and guests at Mar A Lago. Something he should still be prosecuted for.
