double yes to the bolded part. I totally agree. A lot of what I see, just seems like a rationalization process for folks.

The only thing I will say is that MAGA voters and that base has been about as juiced and enthused as they possibly could be. Their enthusiasm perhaps has been lessened when Biden withdrew. There was a genuine exuberance and joy they found in bullying the guy. And that was taken away from them and they just aren't having the fun they used to. I'm not sure Walz or Harris can be as fun of targets as Biden was. I don't know if they'll ever be able to capture that enthusiasm again.

Strategy wise, they would be wiser just talking about the border, since attacking migrants is the probably the second most fun thing for them. The more they use the dishonest social media tactics, the more it will backfire.

Harris and Walz, have been good at parrying those tactics and providing their own effective ripostes.

On a side note, the way Harris handled the protests, yesterday, was masterful. She told her crowd that it was all good, and then answered the protesters with AUTHORITY! It was a boss move.

The stare along with the words left no doubt.

Trump’s support typically maxes out at 46-47%…that’s his ceiling

Dems are getting their VP pick bump, still have yet to receive their National Convention bump, and Trump absolutely does not want to debate Kamala because the Dems would get a huge bump from that as well…Trump was garbage in his debate against Biden, it just got overshadowed…Kamala would annihilate him, and he knows this

Biden struggles to get his words out and could no longer think quickly on his feet…all the bass and fire from his voice is gone, and he sounds like he’s mumbling…Kamala has none of those issues

all that and zero jail time…yet the mindless drones think Trump is one of them and not part of the elites

any one of them do even 1/3 of all those crimes and they’d be locked up for so long they’d qualify for prison pensions

What I find odd is all these people attacking Walz for offcially retiring 2 months BEFORE his unit received orders to ship out. That was his official retirement date. He can't just walk in and say "I retire" and it be done immediately. The process was started MONTHS before his official retirement date.

Well so far the attacking points on Walz are kinda weak. Tampon tim? Man passed a bill to provide sanitary pads for young women. Ditching the military after 24 years of service? He already did 20 years and reenlisted 4 more after 9/11. Like are folks not able to retire and do something else with their life?

He retired before his unit even received the deployment orders.

Would she keep you as a voter if she stood on defunding the police, higher taxes, open borders, and not helping Israel anymore? She will have to proclaim her stances at some point so I don't know if a debate will help her if that is when her policy emerges.

    They were reporters?

Kamala handled the disruptive protestors well and didn't use any kind of violence against them. It also showed that they were allowed to be there. That is a contrast against her political opponent in the presidential race. When the occasional protestor gets into a Trump rally, it has ended in violence. That did not happen here.

But if the Harris and Walz are the Hamas candidates, why were the protestors trying to disrupt the Harris event?

Whether Walz has done wrong or not may be subjective. But his 24 years of honorable military service probably isn't something he did wrong. He also isn't a marxist or communist.

This part made me laugh. Were Republicans really expecting Trump to change? Is that why they decided to support him again?

I think that Republicans will coalesce around two issues that work in tandem.

    Crime and the border.

I think we are about to see the biggest full court press of borderline racist and outright xenophobic bullsh1t that has ever been in modern political history.

The democrats are gonna let blm protestors and migrants burn down your suburbs. Head for the hills. Etc.

she has already said what her current stance on police is…she would sign the George Floyd Act…please tell me where “defunding the police” is in that act

she is also not for open borders…that talking point only works on dishonest MAGA

republicans blocked a bipartisan border bill…

she is also not for “not helping Isreal”

u can’t just make stuff up

Trump’s policy is project 2025. Y’all really wanna go there when it comes to policy?

Harris's campaign went on the offensive with the border days ago. Might as well, since they know $100M+ will be dropped on it by the Trump campaign (if Trump can just stop fussing about crowd size, is she really black).

Trump has continuously distanced himself from that. When Kamala confirms what you said, I will agree with you. Her campaign has backed off a lot already so some clarity would be ideal. Maybe you are right, but we will have to wait for now.

Because it polled really poorly. If Trump wants to distance himself from Project 2025, he needs to take concrete steps to ensure none of those people are in his administration, starting with ditching Vance. He can't do that because they are aligned with him, and he's aligned with them
