If one has too much stock and enrich ones self, the conservatives get triggered and accused liberals of insider trading while conveniently ignoring what the conservative politicians do to enrich oneself. Now they are triggered Walz doesn't own stocks?
Or in other words Tim Walz is a normal American. Only like half of Americans own stocks or mutual funds, and the vast majority are normally trading. Also the disclosure probably does not require you to report what you have in your retirement or 401K. I'm sure Walz isn't essentially a homeless hippie. Even his 300k they sold his house for I'm sure he didn't just throw in his checking account. All this tells me is he doesn't play the stock market, and doesn't care about being ultra wealthy. So you can tell here how Tim Walz has completely broken the brains of MAGA activists like ATW. When you are touting a political virtue as a breaking news world ending event, you are in a pretty bad place & desperate.
very predictable that he’d be big mad about Kamala’s crowd sizes…his narcissism and need for attention can’t resist funny that he’s the one accusing Kamala of paying for her crowd when he’s been exposed for doing just that
Whilst shrouded in Turkish cotton as I dined on ortolan with Mexican industrialists, I learned of DEVASTATING behavior by Tim Walz that will CHANGE THE GAME once the political machinations deem it time to release these bombshells. I can say no more beyond... BIMBO ERUPTIONS
It’s not just that. ATW argued that career public sector workers or those without personal investment (yes, owning a home is an investment, but that's beside the point) should never be elected officials because they are authoritarian and lack understanding of the economy. The jump from A to B is truly astonishing.
MAGA is broken. Its great. They have 0 idea how to compete with weird or couch ****er also. They’re trying, and just look unbelievably pathetic.
There are some discrepancies, and it might be due to the language he used. It seems these issues were raised during his gubernatorial campaign. https://taskandpurpose.com/news/swift-boat-walz/ I think the Harris campaign can respond in multiple ways: Compare Walz's voting records on veterans' issues with Vance's and Trump's. Highlight Trump's comments about veterans being 'losers' and 'suckers.' Point out Trump's lack of military service, including the 'bone spurs'
Considering Walz gave 24 years of his life to serve in the military, I don't think this angle by will work well but Vance can keep trying I actually want him to because it highlights how desperate Trump/Vance is right now.
Had MSNBC on yesterday while I worked yesterday. It's amazing the contrast of likeability between Vance and Walz. It seems Vance assaulted a couch and is universally hated while Walz walks on water and is America's coach. I guess Kamala did make a good choice.
What a polling swing. “Kamala Harris has taken an 8 percentage point lead over Donald Trump, according to a new poll. The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School between July 24 and August 1, shows that when third party candidates are included, Harris leads among likely voters with 50 percent of the vote to Trump's 42 percent. The surge by Harris has improved the Democrats' position since May, when Trump was leading with 44 percent of the vote to Joe Biden's 41 percent.”
It has very little impact on the base. It might have an impact among independents. Overall, responding with and highlighting the voting records for veterans and Trump's disparaging of veterans is a win for the Harris campaign.
this is coming from his former White House press secretary O/U how many times he mentions radical left, open borders, skyrocketing crime, and trans
Its a tell that they see him as a huge threat. The freak out really is a big red flag that they know they are in trouble. Maybe they can dig out of it, and honestly... disinformation, and demagoguery does have a history of working in many cases. See John Kerry, and his military background, and the GOP's disinformation/dishonesty about him. When they can get in front of someone being able to tell their own story then it is beneficial to their narrative, and propaganda for sure. However in this case, I think if you head over to Tik Tok you'll see that Gen Z really got a head start on them at least on that platform, and other social media sites. That'll be beneficial for the younger voters, and people into their 40's who are more plugged in with pop culture, etc. To the older more Facebooky older grandma type of voters (not a group I'm writing off though FYI), the propaganda that ATW and others are spamming out there could have an impact in shaping their view before they ever hear the guy speak. Many of those voters are looking for excuses to vote for Trump, and activists like ATW are trying to give as many excuses as they can as early as they can. Because some of those voters unfortunately do need to vote Democrat in order to win those swing states. That's probably why it'll be extremely important over these next 30 days for Walz especially to be physically in as many of these communities as possible, and make it on local news, etc. The ATW spam is going to snag facebooky grandma's in Texas, and Oklahoma, but the fire needs to be snuffed out quick in PA, MI, WI, AZ, NV, and GA pretty quick. It's obnoxious, and dishonest.... but it does have a history of working unfortunately.
Is this supposed to be a dunk? We'd be absolutely blessed to have someone with no financial entanglements or conflicts of interest in the White House.
Well, to be fair, ATW makes the excellent point that Walz has spent decades in military and civilian public service, and therefore is unelectable.
