So, I’ve read up on this issue about Walz and his military record. I don’t really see where he did anything wrong as to when he retired from the guard. He retired months before they received orders to ship out. He had the right to retire whenever he wanted to. He put in 24 years, which I think is commendable. As far as him talking about weapons he carried in war, that was a mistake, but I think when you look at his entire comment, he wasn’t so much trying to puff up his military career, he was emphasizing the weapons they use in war are designed for the battlefield, not for civilian use. It was a mistake, he should have said weapons he trained with for war. But, in the grand scheme of things, this is a pretty small issue, although the republicans are unlikely to let this go anytime soon.

Really? For the most part I really don't get into politics much these days. I'll be honest. I've never voted once in my entire life. I'm black and although it was a proud moment when Obama won, I didn't vote for the guy either time. I really honestly don't give a **** who wins and never have. I lean more liberal in my thinking, but not enough to believe it matters if one candidate wins over the other. Generally, the arguments I've heard over the years pre-trump from conservatives have at least had some merit and some rationale. There were points from both sides that I would consider valid and discussion worthy.... But now, I'm actually considering going out and simply voting for the first time in my life just to cast a vote against Trump (I still probably won't)…And otherwise I really don't even care if Trump is in office...didn't care when he won the first time...But this time around it'd give me at least momentary satisfaction to see his supporters eat a dick.
