reeko telling everyone trump is a leader and was uniting governors regardless of party. and Walz makes sure to reciprocate if you keep listening, thanking Trump for his guidance and leadership...
Trump campaign is a complete disaster…they have no idea what normal average Americans care about these fools are still talking about Joe Biden and a “coup”…literally no one outside their base gives a fck too many incompetent yes-men on that campaign…might want to diversify the room and get some different non-MAGA perspectives in there quick Trump campaign is like a company that has no black people in the room so they think it’s a good idea to release watermelon flavored drinks on the 1st day of Black History Month
That cannot even be honest in their tweet claims that are attached to the clip. Walz didn't say that "Vance" isn't from Appalachia - he said that his experiences and actions are not similar to those in Appalachia and that is factually true.... and referencing Mountain Dew isn't going to change that.
So maybe attacking the response now, years later, when he's opposite of you in an election, is kind of disingenuous?
oh the point was basic and very easy to get. but the bigger picture is they both were cordial with each other in a time of need. that's real politics and true Americanism. they were not unnecessarily hostile, which is what some would have done here...
As I don’t know all the facts definitively I’ll just say that all politicians exaggerate their resumes (as do most people). They certainly shouldn’t have leaned so hard in to this as he was introduced to the campaign. Anyway, he mostly seems an amiable guy that just wants the best for everyone. I would have always gone with Shapiro but I’m good with Walz as VP.
Vance isn’t from the Appalachia part of Ohio. He is from a suburb of 50,000 nestled between Dayton and Cincinnati. I can say this because I did grow up in Appalachian part of Ohio and most of my family is still there. Is it poorer? Yes. Is it backwater? Absolutely not. Do people have jobs? Yes. Is it just farms and mining? No. Do people also have problems with addiction and crime? Yes. Are all the people drug addicts committing crimes? No. Are they mostly conservative? Yes.
he can’t hide Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has repeatedly denied knowing about the Project 2025 policy blueprint or the people behind it. “Have no idea who is in charge of it,” he wrote in a social media post in July. But in April 2022, Trump shared a 45-minute private flight with Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, according to people familiar with the trip, plane-tracking data and a photograph from on board the plane, which has not been previously reported. They flew together to a Heritage conference where Trump delivered a keynote address that gestured to Heritage’s forthcoming policy proposals. Trump took the flight to speak at a Heritage Foundation conference, where he said, “They’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do.”
This “stolen valor” argument was brought up against Walz before in previous runs. Walz retired when he was 40 and was honorably discharged. No one is denying that. He also is a marksman so does know a fair amount about firearms. While Vance did serve in the Marines he was a publicity officer and dint serve in combat either.
wow, they are really shook The publication date for a book by the president of the conservative Heritage Foundation, which oversees the controversial Project 2025, has been delayed until after the November election. "Dawn’s Early Light," written by Kevin D. Roberts, had been scheduled to be published Sept. 24. But following a public uproar over Project 2025’s policy proposals for a future Republican administration, Roberts said in a statement that he will postpone the book until after Election Day. “There’s a time for writing, reading, and book tours — and a time to put down the books and go fight like hell to take back our country,” he said. RealClearPolitics was first to report the news. The announcement follows a challenging two-week stretch for Donald Trump, which, as the former president sought to distance himself from Project 2025, included increased scrutiny of a foreword of Roberts’ book, written by Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio.
The investing class might bristle at this and go balls deep "probing for corruption" like they have with Joey B, but he earned some points for me with this one: Gov. Tim Walz doesn't own a single stock Investors are sure to differ on the economic policies and record of Tim Walz, the Minnesota governor whom Kamala Harris yesterday picked as her running mate. But here's something on which everyone can agree: Walz isn't going to be talking his portfolio. State of play: Walz doesn't own a single stock, according to financial disclosures and confirmed by a spokesperson. Same goes for his wife Gwen, per tax filings. His disclosures, both from his final year in Congress and his time as Minnesota governor, also show no mutual funds, bonds, private equities, or other securities. No book deals or speaking fees or crypto or racehorse interests. Not even real estate. The couple sold their Mankato, Minnesota, home after moving into the governor's mansion, for below the $315k asking price). Zoom in: Their only investment assets appear to be via pensions, including teacher pensions. The big picture: This lack of investment is highly unusual for elected officials. Particularly high-profile ones vying for federal office. It's also reflected in some of what Walz did while in Congress, such as introducing the STOCK Act, which was aimed at curbing insider trading by congresspeople and other federal government employees. The STOCK Act was signed into law by former President Obama in 2012, with Walz by his side, although its effectiveness is questionable. Walz as governor signed a 1% tax surcharge on capital gains and other annual net investment income over $1 million. He's also chair of the Minnesota's board of investments, which manages state pension funds. Mr Hillbilly doesn't have much to stand on when he's time sharing the glory hole for Thiel and other members of the Paypal Mafia.
hey, I thought Dems were supposed to be the party that allows genders to be free. if Vance wants to wear makeup let him...right?
This is what Trump tweeted during the protests: Trump tweeted near midnight May 29, 2020, that, "I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right ....." Is that being cordial to the mayor under a crisis situation? Trump simply chose not to hold Walz responsible for what was happening at the time. Which is a curious thing, given the current line of attack.
so right after Coach Walz said in his VP introduction speech in front of millions of viewers that JD Vance wrote the foreword to this Project 2025 book, they then come out and delay the release until after the election I have never seen the Dems beat down the republicans like this ever since Biden dropped out, Dems have controlled all the messaging and have set the narrative…MAGA is so shook that the Project 2025 director stepped down and left the Heritage Foundation last week, and now the book has been delayed Dems beating them down similar to how Thanos gave Hulk a severe case of the beats at the start of Infinity War
trying to call out a president for working across the aisle is really stupid. that's what they're supposed to do while in office. on the campaign trail, sure they go at each other and you hope it stays classy (lol at that happening in today's world), but behind closed doors they do work together. if the best people can do is post that Trump worked with Walz on somethings, then that won't hold at all
I can tell that night there were a lot of rumors that federal troops had been deployed in Minneapolis and were shooting people.
I'm strictly talking about the random tweet reeko posted which apparently happened after that tweet about the mayor. In it the more recent clip, Trump was cordial with Walz telling him he did a good job, and Walz was cordial with Trump saying he is providing great guidance. it's obvious why he is attacking him on it now, there's a whole presidential campaign going on and most voters won't dig deeper. It's like that both ways with the amount of useless tweets that keep getting posted
