This is about 98% of it to me. Most of America are just really ****ing sick of Donald Trump and his campaign of grievance, anger, and vanity. Harris and Walz aren't perfect, but they come off as lightyears more relatable and sympathetic figures than the sociopaths piloting the SS MAGA.

It is obvious they don’t care about the votes in the middle. Those are the ones who determine the election. The swing voters. The democrats on the far left act the same way. I think the Harris team is playing this right, she doesn't seem to take the bait and the fact that she is up there smiling and having fun is a dark contrast to the other side calling her a cat lady and Walz not patriotic, I don't think they can read the room but then I remember that trump is calling ALL the shots and those are the talking points HE thinks will resonate with the public, but it only resonates with the maga base, they eat it up and applaud him for it. He doesn't seem to realize that type of rhetoric turns off so many people. I am sure they have some smart people on his campaign and I don't doubt they have told him that this is not a good strategy but the donald knows best and will do and say what he feels the maga base wants but is igniting people who were not going to vote because trump was a shoe in due to Joe`s age mental state. 2 weeks ago I would have said I still think trump wins, but if he keeps this up and the Harris team can ride this thing for a few months then he might just tweet his way out of a job. The election isn't "pretty much done" - there are months left until election day and either candidate could still win, possibly in commanding fashion with this much time left. Harris and Walz are not Biden - this isn't a situation where there is a known quantity running against a known quantity. Those that support Trump are VERY loyal and very loud about their support, but they are not the majority of the country. If I had to bet my life on it, I believe that Trump wins when it is all said and done, but this isn't like when Reagan, Clinton or Obama were running for re-election and everyone they would win - this is different.
The coup line of attack seems so dumb especially since Trump actually tried one. Is that one sticking? Is that why you keep using it?
Right - and the longer that MAGA decides to unjustifiably attack Harris' ethnicity, gender or how she looks - the further Trump will lose in polls..... the same with Walz. The longer MAGA decides to question the valor or someone that spent a quarter of a century in the military, the longer that they say he looks old or make other absurd statements - the longer Trump will lose ground. There are things to attack Harris and Walz about based on their record - but Trump and Vance cannot help themselves.
You can see he can't even help himself in his response... "the coup". They call it "the coup" because it's inconceivable to them that someone would have the maturity and humility to do what Biden did. That's how badly Trump has lowered the bar. If Trump would STFU and let an advisor guide him through the next few months, I think he could pick up some voters. But he is hard headed and dumb, so we may be stuck with these progressives.
