LOL. This is an obvious parody account, but maybe the dumbest Senator, Tommy Tuberville, unironically responded: "Tim wouldn’t last a day in the SEC."
he’s pandering for votes…Trump is for sale to the highest bidder like the political wh*re that he is Hours after meeting with bitcoin miners at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Wednesday, the former president said on his Truth Social media platform that cryptocurrency users should “vote for Trump!” because he will stand up to “Biden’s hatred of Bitcoin.” But just a few years ago, when Trump was in the White House, he made his thoughts on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies clear. “I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air,” he said in a series of social media posts in 2019 while he was still in office. “Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity.” “We have only one real currency in the USA,” Trump continued, “And it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!” Trump maintained that position after he left the office and as recently as 2021, when he told Fox Business in one interview that bitcoin “just seems like a scam.” In another interview with the network, he said cryptocurrencies seemed like a “disaster waiting to happen.” after railing against EV’s for years, he now loves electric vehicles…and the reason why is
Trump is running for office for 3 reasons 1) Avoid imprisonment for his criminal acts. 2) Use the power to make himself richer by any means at his disposal, including policies both at home and abroad. 3) His desperate need for attention. He will flip flop policies at the blink of an eye for the right price, whether it puts Americans in danger or not.
You are leaving out the part where the attempt was to literally force the VP, Senate, and then the House to block the certification of a free and fair election, and install an un-elected autocrat into power for the foreseeable future. So yeah.... January 6th was worse by miles. Maybe not in terms of financial damages given the scope, but in terms of violence towards police officers it's certainly debatable, and in terms of the impact of our country moving forward The Minnesota riots is like a molehill compared to the mountain that January 6th represented. .... It's posts like this that really make it hard for me to take your "Oh I'm just trying to be polite to both sides" schtick seriously. It's harder to see at first glance than the obnoxious nature of Around the World's posts, but in the end, your posts lead to the same conclusion.
That's fair but I have always thought Jan6 was easily avoidable with security and will never happen again with security. There are so many places that people shouldn't be able to access at certain times. Similar to NRG on Sundays or Toyota Center on game nights.
Could these losers be trying to make fun of her Indian heritage by calling her Kamabla all of the sudden? The Kambala, Kambla or Kambula is an annual buffalo race held in the southwestern Indian state of Karnataka. Traditionally, it is sponsored by local Tuluva landlords and households in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Bhatkal of Karnataka and Kasaragod of Kerala, a region collectively known as Tulu Nadu.
It would be more avoidable if their leader was not fanning the flames encouraging the behavior. We all have to deal with losses from whoever we support, Trump losing was no different and the process should of been a peaceful transfer of power. More security, sure that probably would of helped, but the fact it happened because a percentage of the population was convinced that the election was compromised is a whole different issue. It shouldn't have happened in the first place. The elections were fair as seen by the multiple challenges that Trump's team made to the court system. Trump should not have banned the flames and all indications are that if he loses this election his dumbass is going to go on the same conspiracy rampage, and probably be even worse about it.
See... again. I see what you are trying to do here. You are trying to shift the argument over to blame Nancy Pelosi. I'm not going to let you distract from the point that you were originally trying to make that I disagreed with. What was more dangerous overall.... What had potentially greater impact on our lives? Yeah... it's January 6th by a mile. .... The Security measures thing is one that can be argued within the context of government buildings and public access. These are not military bases. They are meant to be publicly accessed like libraries or churches. Militarizing our government building is something that should be debated beforehand. Also the fault of January 6th from a security standpoint actually goes back to this memo which is essentially a Stand Down order given all the way up from the acting Secretary of Defense. https://www.justsecurity.org/wp-con...ance-for-the-DC-National-Guard-Jan-4-2021.pdf Again... Trump's ACTING secretary of defense gave a stand down order here with a high amount of restrictions given for them to act. Pelosi and Mitch McConnell had no authority to overrule the Secretary of Defense... who at this stage is doing nothing without consulting Donald Trump first. Going down this road might seem like a smart idea politically for those not in the know. (Blame Pelosi)... but when you dig into the facts of the matter in regards to Security... yeah this is on Trump.
I understand and that day was terrible. But as far as that happening again, I think we can prepare for this type of situation. There will be mad people after each election and people do dumb things. If we learned lessons for 2021, we should be able to prevent it from happening again. I am not as sure that we will be proactive in preventing deadly events similar to Minneapolis and Portland. Hopefully we have learned lessons there as well.
Except this time it is true. Remember the time they spread crap about Trump? How about the “Weird” label you clowns put on Vance? The old looking ass visited China over 30 times, who goes to Tiananmen Square for their honeymoon?
Totally different scenarios and while the violence should not be tolerated, we also need to understand that we cannot treat people differently based on the color of their skin and unfortunately it was something that was bound to come to fruition after all the unfairness in the system. You piss off people enough and at some point they will revolt against you. Of course, some individuals did take advantage of the situation to loot, but the reaction of unfairness was justified.
Trump insults do not have that level of depth to them. He was probably just combining her name "Kamala" with "Blah" and, thus, "Kamabla" was born. Basically, something a 4 year old might come up with.
Not blaming Pelosi. I have moved on 4 years later. The people responsible are being punished. Which was more dangerous? IDK, I think many of us probably have a better chance of being caught in a deadly protest or dangerous traffic blocking situation than we will of ever setting foot in the District of Columbia. These events, in my opinion, will have a greater impact on our lives than that day in 2021.
Well, that is a fair thing to discuss, but it is also hindsight. Proudboys and others scouted out the area ahead of time to know where the weaknesses would be. And security was present. It's just that it wasn't enough security. In fairness to those preparing for the security, I don't think people were ready to believe that the MAGA crowd would storm the capitol and assault law enforcement. They didn't believe that the outgoing president of the United States would urge people he knew were armed to march on the capitol. The crazy thing is that even with your assessment having the benefit of hindsight, many of those who saw it happen, still don't believe it, and won't use the benefit of that hindsight.
As a side note, that someone can not be the blissfully ignorant, dementia-addled Trump. If asked why he wants crypto to replace the greenback, I am sure the answer would devolve into something something electric boat something something sharks ...
This loser ticket is telling me 2 things, either you clowns have some cheating up your sleeves or you’ll just tank this one out and waiting on your draft picks for 2028?
Now I'm going to have to research if these buffalo are water buffalo or those similar to the North American Buffalo.
