Unfortunate for Valdez but still a great game. I was going to say I hope this doesn't rattle him knowing he was 1 strike away going forward. But he was in good spirits during the high fives.
He was also awful last year after his no-hitter. They’re trying something different this year for wellness purposes…
Framber barely missed his 2nd no-no by one out, but great game by him and gets the win. Hader with 23 consecutive saves, but he still doesn't inspire much confidence, damn sure not 19 mil/season worth. Yordan goes deep. Astros need every win they can get. .
You guys really trust Hader if we make the post-season? I saw him serving up meatballs to the Phillies when he was with the Padres in big moments.......
It maybe a blessing, the last monumental, celebratory win was when Bregman hit that walk-off HR against the Dodgers. After the game, the Stros went 2-6, should of been 1-7 (O'Neil gifted us a win).
Thank the lord for Yordan Alvarez. I can't even imagine how miserable that could have been otherwise. I have unhealthy hate for that entire stupid ****ing team. Just horrible, I need to go talk to a therapist, type of hate.
Oh really you saw that? That’s odd since the only appearance he had in the playoffs against the Phillies he struck out the side for the save. In fact, he didn’t allow a run in the playoffs during the Padres run - one total hit allowed in 5.1 innings with 10 Ks. Career 1.37 postseason ERA in 19.2 innings.
