I highly doubt there will be. Nuclear retaliation on Iran unless they use some form of WMD first. For how over the top their rhetoric is the Iranian regime isn’t going to risk something like that. In their last attack on Israel missiles and drones they were fairly small and the Iranians even made it known ahead of time they were doing it.

My nephew just got his officers commission and reports to Quantico in October. Just let them pummel each other like they have for as long as I can remember. At this point I agree with you. The United States needs to stay out of the Middle East and the Israel/Iran situation. I don't have an issue with the USA increasing relations with Kuwait and Jordan, through trade and mutual interests that do not involve nation building. The time or chance that the USA had to be deeply involved in the Middle East passed when the USA left Iraq and an entire generation of young people that were used to some of the freedoms provided by the US post war occupation. At that point the USA could have done what they did in Japan and Germany, but the decision after a decade plus, was made to leave - and at this point there is no reason for the USA to be involved. Israel is about Israel - and if they want lebensraum, they can do it without US support, money or future weapons.
