I have to agree, I don't see how you win without Pennsylvania. It's hard to see democrats winning Georgia again and I don't seem them pulling NC at all. They will pull out Nevada and Arizona, along with Michigan and Wisconsin, but holy ****, if they can't pull Pennsylvania, it's not happening.
And of course a classy, measured and collegial statement from our former President welcoming Governor Walz to the race. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4813429-trump-campaign-harris-vp-pick-tim-walz/ In a text to supporters, Trump’s campaign said “TIM WALZ WILL UNLEASE HELL ON EARTH.”
the energy is real…my brother who is basically apolitical, barely reads or watches the news, and has never bothered to vote has told me he’s voting even he has now heard about project 2025
Do not doubt the power of the Minnesota State Fair it is what seduced Carlos Correa to the bland side. It starts with eating cheese curds, then to Juicy Lucy's and next thing you know you're giving a joint talk at the Mondale Center with Ilhan Omar about Trans Rights.
Trump campaign really needs to stop letting that Asian wannabe white supremacist Steven Cheung write their campaign statements…he’s a terminally online right wing loser who has no clue what normal Americans think
Boycotting the Olympics? That's just weird and down right un-American. Those un-Americans should just back from where they came from.
Since it's impossible for actual garbage men to pick up the trash Trump spews from his mouth daily, I'm hoping we see a surge at the polls like never before in November. This year we need to vote out that trash mouth, hate spewing, pathological liar for good. He's toxic waste that needs removed for good. Time to clean up, move forward, and never look back.
Theorizing: Outside of PA, Shapiro has a slightly more negative pull among Democrats (progressive wing) compared to Walz, whereas they are the same among non-Democrats. My preference was Shapiro due to PA. But Walz, I get also.
I am not sure about Shapiro having more upside - he is very unlikeable IMO and I suspect he has some serious skeletons. Had Harris picked Shapiro, the claim would be that the only reason he was chosen is because he is Jewish and that he is an Uncle Tom. A lack of unity in the Democratic party is why this is an issue -
I believe Walz can pull more voters from all battleground states. His down to earth relatable and charismatic delivery will play well with the many voters tired of political-speak (which Trump has) but are tired of anti-Democratic psychotic incoherence. That helps the ticket win PA, MI, NC, MN, GA WI, AZ, NM, but might hurt the ticket in Nevada.
