    I am rooting for Metchie but he had a great opportunity Friday night and didn't come through.............The kid is a AWESOME story and I hope he is given a chance Friday but I have a feeling he may be a "practice guy" that doesnt show up in the game................hope I am wrong

    I've tried to cut down the roster to 53. I always end up with 57. They're going to be some tough cuts.

    Honestly, whichever of the two of them make the cut, they probably won't have a lot of reps unless there are injuries. I wonder which of the two would be less likely to get poached off the practice squad...

    I feel the same, but may the best man win.

    There are 3 preseason games left for Metchie to prove himself. But if he doesn't show up against the Steelers, he may not get the last two chances.
