I have a few pretty solid redneck tendencies...I have never picked up roadkill, much less wanted to take it home to eat.

I was watching a documentary once about some man in England who went out looking for roadkill to put in his freezer. He ate anything too, it was pretty gross.

Every single word of this story is a rollercoaster.

Who among us hasn't picked up a dead bear cub, thrown it into a car, gone to a dudes-only steak dinner, and decided that it'd be hilarious to throw the carcass in the park as a piece of social commentary?

    ha

the "Alaska child" has gotten road kill moose two years running. They get the salvage permit from the state. We in fact have some of it left in our freezer--moose are big animals, the net packaged meat even on a small one is considerable

Admit it - he sounds like a pretty cool guy to hang out with. He gets the best reservations in the country and always pays… he has incredible stories about his family, his time living with a tribe in the Amazon and his actress ex-wife. He has always pulled women with ease and knows all the best bars and clubs. He also has a falcon with him most of the time and you never know what crazy adventure he will get you in to.

From what I remember - he is considered an awesome and loyal friend, just not a great husband because he has ****ed more New England coeds than the Red Sox and Patriots combined.

This isn’t just weird because he wants to eat roadkill. It’s the dumping it in Central Park and trying it to make it look like a biker ran over it.

That sounds like a drunk story from some 20 somethings. He was 61 when he did this.

I’m sure coming from the Kennedy family with a lot of money helps to get women and the best reservations.

Personally a lot of this sounds like he’s a rich D-bag who show off his eccentric taste.

And, unlike others in the Kennedy clan, is known for stopping to pick up dead bodies and put them in his car.

Well - he has never really had to be accountable for his actions in the past when it comes to relationships and as a product of a very broken home, and having all of actions justified - he does certainly have a lot of the markers of white rich male entitlement, and by his own admission he has not always been a responsible person when it comes to the emotions of others ---- so yeah, he can be a real douchebag in some ways. However, I still find him to be interesting and if nothing else, would be entertaining to know and be around.

If you believe his siblings, a lot of his eccentricities started because as a child, it was the only way he received attention... and after awhile, it was just who he is.

Bear cub found dead under bush inside Central Park
    Published 8:15 PM CDT, October 6, 2014
NEW YORK (AP) — A bear cub has been found dead under a bush in Central Park, and authorities suspect animal cruelty played a role.

The cub was found Monday morning by two women walking their dogs. The women notified a Central Park Conservancy employee. There were signs of trauma to the cub’s body, which authorities said may have been dumped there.

One of the women, Florence Slatkin, said she and a friend were leaving the park when her friend’s terrier spotted something near a bicycle lying on the ground.

“At first, we thought it was a bag of clothes or maybe a dead dog,” said Slatkin, a retired transit administrator who lives near the park.

But then, as they got closer, they realized it was a very small bear “with its mouth wide open and scratches on the side.”

The cub’s head was on top of the back bicycle wheel, Slatkin said.

“It was terrible, and it was the strangest thing,” she added. “Why was the bike there?”

Police later dusted the bicycle for prints.

Bears are not among the park’s known wildlife population, and there are no bears at the Central Park Zoo. No bears were reported missing from other zoos.

The dead 3-foot-tall bear cub was being sent to Albany, where the state Department of Environmental Conservation was taking over the case and performing a necropsy on it. It was unclear what type of bear it was.
