On one side, we have Epstein’s best friend, who’s a convicted rapist, and who created a fake college to line his own pockets… on the other side, we have a woman of color that thinks it's okay to laugh, AND her name means horrible in Swedish. This may be the toughest decision of my life.

If Kamala flaked out of a scheduled debate because it wasn't hosted on MSNBC she would be laughed at deservedly. Donald Trump doesn't want a debate unless a right wing outlet hosts it. How are people defending this I don't know?
I think we can take that defending as either ignorance of the facts, being easily fooled by politic propaganda, or as nothing but shameless partisan politicking. That people engaged in shameless partisan politicking are willing to lower their credibility for such a man is something that I'm unlikely to understand. Honestly, though, I do not understand what the hell Trump's camp is doing. I've never seen them mess up messaging this badly before.

They aren't used to dealing with a black woman. They don't know how far they can go with stereotypes and cat calls. With Hilary, that was almost a decade ago and she was easy to attack as a shrill and angry woman. This is a different candidate and a different time. Trump is letting Vance do some of his heavy lifting on the insult front to see how it plays. If it works, then Trump can join in, if it doesn't - then he can distance himself. As for Harris - she has benefitted greatly from not being Joe Biden or Donald Trump, and while she is an attractive and very active 60 year old, she seems like a 20-year-old compared to what Americans are used to. Harris is at her best when they let her be herself, and try not to control her. She has so far benefitted from savvy staff that are not being restrained like they were under Biden. Also - Harris is good at targeted attacks. This thing is FAR from over. Momentum at some point will swing back to Trump and then possibly back to Harris. At some point Harris is going to have to articulate her policy somewhat. She has to resist her own party extremists attacking her, so that she appeals enough to the middle class and suburban men and women who will play a big part in this election. I don't assume her foreign policy or even domestic policy is the same as Biden, when it comes to some things she is more conservative than Biden. On other issues she is not. There is an assumption that because she appears younger and is biracial that she is a liberal - which she is, but not to the degree some democrats and republicans believe. For example, I wouldn't be surprised if she is more aggressive on the border issue than Biden and likely can do it without the flack that Trump gets.
