Yeah I get that. You guys are programmed to say that. I mean, there might be one person out there who hasn't heard that already after 8 years. Might be best to move on to something a little more effective, like Harris's policies. If they are good, I might vote for her. But if she thinks cloud computing is up above our heads, she is the dumbest thing to come across politics. And after that Biden fiasco last month, I have little doubt Democrats would double down on stupidity.
I have a more positive take. I think the country responded very harshly to the idea of electing a geriatric man who should have retired years ago. They also responded very harshly to the celebration of a near assassination. The moderate voice is coming out in strides and demanding the far left and far right to STFU. Now that said, I feel the Biden resignation came to a surprise for many in the DNC. Much like when Trump won the nomination in 2016 for the Republicans. This is a pivotal point for the Democrats. If the gap is filled with moderates, Harris has a good chance to win .... unless she is the complete brain dead moron that I keep seeing in videos. I would like to see 3 or 4 long form podcasts with reputable individuals. The DNC is not loosely ran like the RNC. If Harris does take the nomination, she will have to conform. What is the new conforming policies that her administration plans to lay out. I am not seeing a lot of leftist bullshit so far so that is good news. If her administration tells Warren and her goons along with the diversity movement to FO, that is very good. This is the single issue that is going to cause the democrats to lose: Their foreign policy sucks ass. It is no surprise the middle east is blowing up. They are pricing in a Harris presidency.
Which makes it even more baffling that Trump is the candidate. Right now the other party is going to prove that as long as they have somebody who’s not mentally or physically so old… that it will be enough. They’ll let Trump make all the mistakes he is for some reason continuing to be allowed to do… and without novelty and a campaign that can’t figure out how to get out of its own way, that may be all that is needed.
If this was 3 months ago, this is true. Again, Middle East is breaking out in full war. Russia is arming the **** out of Iran and the US is deploying its fleet to the middle east. This is actively going on right now. WTF is Biden??...Oh we know. Perhaps Harris should step up and start talking about this. Because its pretty clear by now Ukraine war is all but over. Also we are on the (yet another) precipitous of a recession. Billionaires are selling off. They know something is coming. If the economy is tanking, she is going to have to do a lot more than handwaving and talking about ... actually I haven't a clue what she was trying to say about inflation.
Huh? I’m referring to the fact that Trump was selected (annointed?) months ago (without other potentially qualified candidates even given the slightest bit of consideration)…. And the crux of his platform was apparently going to be “I’m more fit than Biden”, while continuing to spout false claims that will get fact-checked more and more this go around (because honestly, enough is enough with the lies there). The other party is now able to do that exact same strategy… without as much burden of proof required by the challenger. As far as “who’s running the country”… I’d still have more faith in the current regime tackling current event issues vs. the party that is focusing more on olympians’ gender and biracial ethnicity.

First, I am not trying to sway you from anything. I already know you're a straight ticket voter. You would have voted for Biden. Next, Trump wasn't anointed. DeSantis was a lead consideration very early on, right before he stopped focusing on MFGA and instead did a swan dive into the identity politics. Nikki Haley is a marginally better than Harris. The Republicans, just like the Democrats, continue to run unappealing candidates for the moderate. All politicians lie. No need to pretend this is a unique quality. A politician should be judged on their accomplishments and outcomes, for better or for worse. Find a better talking point. But ultimately, you ignored my two core points 1) What are Harris's and her upcoming administrations policies ... debated in long form, and 2) How is she going to handle the current economic uncertainty and the growing global fallouts.
