They need 3 league avg hitting OF'ers and a league avg hitting !B. At this point if they're serious about winning they should put their best bats in the lineup. If they aren't going to use Caratini consistently then I'm good with bringing up Dezenzo and going with this lineup until Tucker makes it back. This is certainly not an optimal lineup and what I would do is have Caratini/Diaz splitting time between C/DH. 1. Altuve 2B 2. Bregs 3B 3. Yordan LF 4. Diaz C 5. Chas and hope he gets hot. DH 6. Dezenzo 3B 7. Pena SS 8. Meyers CF 9. Leon RF
Pena needs a couple of days off and play Dubon at SS. Yesterday Pena looked lost at the plate and wasn't his normal self at SS.
Pena was thrown junk that whole AB and he just flailed away. Brice Matthews is going to take his place eventually.
