Reed would have a good chance at getting ROY if he was starting unfortunately on this team, he'll likely be coming off the bench or even be starting off the season in G-league. So ROY is completely out of the picture. The only chance our guys would've had it would've been with Jalen or Jabari and we all know how that went.

The same way that we are expecting Sengun to come in shooting better threes. By practicing.

but this guy was taking zero 3s......and most rational people aren't expecting sengun to come in and be a good 3 pt shooter

They don't do ROY this early in the year. But they do Jock riding year round.

Most Rockets fans are expecting Sengun to be a better 3 point shooter than before. Also, just like any big man who wants to expand his game, Edey should want and needs to become at least somewhat of a 3 pt threat. Or at least a good mid range shooter. That would put him at Yao Ming status.

LOL the chances he ever sniffs yao level are about as good as jalen being jordan or sengun being jokic. All utter nonsense

So was Keegan Murray. No complaints from Kings fans.

Get your point but Yao was too injury riddled to be compared to Jordan or Jokic......therefore easier to attain.

I think Edey is a different player that he would never have the great shooting touch of Yao not even close....but he is a better rebounder due to him having learned boxing out in College.

And because this era is vastly devoid of Centers, Edey would look a tad like Yao because the competition is not that physical than it was in Yao Ming's era.

It all boils down to him being healthy and not injury prone. A lot more stats padding also.

That would put him in Hartenstein's territory and not Yao's.... his midrange was up there with Pau Gasol's.
