I don't think Shapiro would be the best pick. He's a talented politician to be sure (although as some daily show comedian pointed out - he sounds like Obama and it's weird), but I do think stuff like this makes him too controversial given Kamela already has a delicate relationship with Arab Americans. I think Walz would be the wisest choice.
I wonder if that was more Biden or his campaign staff. Didn't Harris keep Biden's campaign staff? I know she added a few more members to her team since then. Either way, her social media team has been on point
I think it was more Biden…yeah, she kept most of his campaign staff Biden still stuck in the old days where Dems should play nice and reach across the aisle to sane republicans…the republican party is a cesspool that isn’t even interested in governing these days
Lol, Kamala is so stupid... Trump never agreed to debate her, at this point Trump shouldn't give her the time of day... He already offered a Fox news debate, take it or leave it.... The election is essentially over, Trump hasn't debated anyone who isn't actually a challenge on neither the Republican side or Democrats side.... She needs a debate more than Trump, no reason for Trump to give in.... This like racing someone with a slow car and then having to slow down so they can catch up or them calling you a coward for not letting them catch up.....
Better check the polls in the swing states bro. Election ain't over. I get why he doesn't want to debate, if he spouts his stupid mouth again, it could sink him like Uncle Joe.
No she doesn't. Trump is going to give her 90 mins on ABC to introduce herself to America, while he goes on Faux News? LOL. Trump will be BEGGING for a Debate by the end of this month as the polls show he is falling. Remember, the DNC hasn't happened yet. Harris will get a bump from that.
Jesus Christ, this is cringe as hell. Dude should take a look in the mirror before spouting off who is a r****d. You guys simply do not have a good sense of humor. You think juvenile humor is hilarious.
Im starting to have a de-ja-vu. For the last year and a half, many of us were talking up Weekend-at-Bernies with Biden. Despite countless videos of Biden in clear cognitive decline, we were reassured he was sharp as a tack. All we wanted to see was a video of a man who was clearly in control of his council, but instead, we were given videos of him in a geriatric state, trying to convince us he was in full control. The man looked like he should be in a retirement community flirting with the 65 year old serving him ice cream. The elder abuse was just sad. Anyways, the rest is history. Now we have a woman who has never won a primary going up against a very unpopular narcissist. I am now being told she is even better than Biden, so by this logic, she should be much sharper than a tack. All I want to see is some videos displaying some type of leadership in conversation. Every video I've seen of her is absolute cringe. Harris actually thinks this is her top work. "say it to my face" followed up with a very bizarre laughter
Mesa Mayor John Giles didn't stop at bashing Trump and endorsing Harris. What he's said https://www.azcentral.com/story/new...oes-all-in-on-harris-endorsement/74652946007/ Mesa's Mayor John Giles splashed onto the national political scene this week after he crossed party lines and urged Arizona Republicans to vote against former President Donald Trump and support Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. His pitch started with a guest column in The Arizona Republic and a follow-up interview the same day. Giles didn't stop there, and he's making waves. He has since made the rounds on national broadcasts, appearing on NPR, PBS News Hour and MSNBC. Giles is a registered Republican but holds a nonpartisan office and has never been elected as a Republican. Nonetheless, he’s the most prominent Republican still in office in Arizona to publicly endorse Harris. Why does Giles' endorsement of Harris matter? Giles presides over the 36th most populous city in America. Parts of Mesa have historically sent hard-line conservatives and staunch Trump supporters such as Andy Biggs to Congress and the state Legislature. Portions of the city are a bedrock of Arizona conservatism. Successive U.S. presidents and their surrogates have come to the East Valley to tout investments in technology and education. On the national stage, Mesa increasingly matters. Only four U.S. cities governed by Republican mayors are bigger than Mesa, and none is in a state competitive in presidential elections. They are Dallas, Fort Worth, Oklahoma City and Fresno, California. All are in reliably red or blue states. But not Giles. Arizona has been a key battleground state in recent presidential elections. What did Giles say on national broadcasts? Giles told news anchors he’d prefer to be handing out his endorsements to Republican candidates, but he put thought into his support for Harris. In interviews, Giles said Harris could win Arizona. “I think she needs to remind people like me... how chaotic four years of Donald Trump was. We truly were referring to it as a national nightmare.” On MSNBC, Giles said this year is not one in which voters “can follow tradition or misplaced loyalty and vote for a Republican at the top of the ticket.” “Donald Trump has demonstrated he lacks the character, lacks the commitment to the rule of law, to the United States Constitution to qualify as an elected official, let alone as president of the United States,” Giles said. In interviews, he said the Biden-Harris administration did more for cities than the Trump administration, pointing to the CHIPS and Science Act that he said has helped bring private investment into the state and to Mesa. Giles serves as the chairman of the U.S. Conference of Mayors task force on immigration reform. “Immigration is not an issue in Arizona. It is the issue,” he said on NPR’s Here and Now. He said the current administration should be held accountable for not doing more, but ultimately Giles laid the blame on Trump for killing bipartisan immigration reform. He also criticized the Biden-Harris administration for not doing a better job on the economy. How did Giles justify his endorsement of Harris? Giles echoed Sen. John McCain’s “Country First” motto as he called on other Arizona Republicans to join him in defeating Trump. It will take Republicans, Democrats and independent voters to stand "together against a far-right agenda" and beat Trump, Giles wrote, saying the former president "poses a threat" to the nation. “That’s why I’m standing with her. Kamala Harris is the competent, just and fair leader our country deserves. This year too much is at stake to vote Republican at the top of the ticket,” he wrote.
I saw one of his interviews and he’s definitely one of those John McCain Republicans that Kari Lake said shouldn’t be supporting her. I think Az is going to be very close but it will be hard for Trump to win when MAGA has alienated a major wing of the Republican Party there.
Be careful what you wish for, does she not have a clue on how Trump operates? That's literally how he got into office and leading by a large margin to win again, by saying exactly what he wants to say to his opponents face..... Has she not seen videos of Trump clowning just about everybody on the debate stage, she thinks all of sudden Trump is going to be different to her? Trump shouldn't give her a debate since she wasn't even nominated by the people and presidential debates should be reserved for nominees the people voted for to run for president, if its a coup or an injected nominee by a party then they shouldn't qualify to share with the nation why they are better than their opponent and especially if the opponent was chosen by the people tuning in. But if Trump is feeling nice and courteous enough to give her a debate then he will humiliate her like he did Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Chris Christie or just about anyone who has gone up against him.
